The main goals and objectives of the industry Olympiad for schoolchildren are to identify gifted students focused on engineering and technical specialties, capable of technical creativity and innovative thinking and planning their professional activity in the gas industry.
The Olympiad is held by educational organizations higher education from among the leading universities Russian Federation jointly with PJSC Gazprom. The Chemistry Olympiad is held by the Russian State University of Oil and Gas (National Research University) named after I.M. Gubkin and Kazan National Research Technological University. In-person stages of the Olympiad are held at many regional venues.
This Olympiad does not have status for admission to universities. However, it provides a unique opportunity to test your strength before passing the Unified State Exam, get necessary information about the conditions of study at the university, its winners are awarded valuable prizes. The winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad will receive extra points to the results of the Unified State Exam, as part of taking into account the individual achievements of the applicant (up to 10 points).
The Olympiad is held in two stages:
- registration and first (remote) stage – from 05.11.2019 to 12.01.2020;
- the second (final) stage is carried out in person from February 1 to March 31, 2020. Winners and prize-winners of the first (qualifying) stage of the Olympics are allowed to participate in it.
To get acquainted with examples of tasks and prepare for the qualifying round of the Olympics, participants are invited to take a preparatory round. Participation in it is not mandatory and the results are not taken into account further.
Russian Chemical-Technological University named after D.I. Mendeleev holds the Interregional Chemical Olympiad named after Academician P. D. Sarkisov for schoolchildren in grades 9-11...
The competition takes place in two stages. The qualifying stage is carried out remotely. Completed tasks are checked using computer program and are not subject to appeal.
The final stage takes place in person at university sites in Moscow and regions of Russia. The winners and prize-winners of the first stage are invited to attend. When completing Olympiad tasks, the organizers allow the use of periodic table chemical elements D.I. Mendeleev and the table of solubility and voltage series of metals.

A victory or a prize at the school Olympiad is an excellent chance to bypass the general competition and enroll in your dream university with benefits. We told you earlier...
In this article, we will help you navigate the requirements of universities: what benefits they provide to winners and runners-up and under what conditions they accept admission to bachelor's and specialty programs.
Brief information about benefits
What are the benefits? Each university itself determines the conditions under which it accepts winners and runners-up. It could be:
- enrollment without entrance examinations;
- 100 Unified State Examination points in a core subject;
- maximum score on DVI (additional entrance examinations).
Victories for 11th grade, 10-11th grade, or 9-11th grade are taken into account. Also, the university itself determines the compliance of the Olympiad profile with the area of training - that is, in which Olympiad subjects for which educational programs the university accepts beneficiaries.
In most universities, only the admissions committee finally decides on what conditions to accept the winners. Therefore, the benefits information in our table may not be complete. Be sure to check information about special rights with the admissions office. Her phone number is on the website of each university.
Which Olympiads provide benefits?
- The All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren is conducted by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. A victory or a prize place at the final stage of the All-Russian Competition allows you to enter any university in Russia according to the Olympiad profile without exams. Not according to your profile - get maximum scores on the Unified State Exam or DVI.
- The winners and prize-winners of the IV stage of all-Ukrainian student Olympiads and international Olympiads receive the same privileges.
- University Olympiads from the List of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. They are conducted directly by Russian universities. Winners and medalists of these Olympiads can also receive privileges upon admission. But here you need to take into account the rules of the university itself.
What about the Unified State Exam? The diploma of the winner or prize-winner of the school Olympiad must be confirmed with at least 75 points profile Unified State Examination. Some universities establish b O higher threshold. Vseros diploma needs to be confirmed only minimum points in Russian language and mathematics.
