#IDARB

This 8-bit game does not shine with graphics, but addicts with its recklessness and action (). This is a kind of chaotic semblance of football, but only with various obstacles (playgrounds) on the field, along which characters jump with a ball. The goal is simple - to score the ball into someone else's goal, and the cooler it is, the more points will be awarded.

Lots of customizable soccer players, logos, tournaments, teams, and more. Up to 8 people can play locally or via the Internet.

IDARB is a great choice for fun companywhere everyone can take part without skills and long training.

The difficulty of the game also scales with the number of players, so it won't be boring and easy.

An open-world, survival sandbox game that captured the hearts and minds of young and experienced players alike and soon became the game everyone is talking about. Want to blow up resources and explore the world, or want to build a USS Starship Enterprise? What you do is completely up to you and your friends, in a nutshell.

GEARS OF WAR series

Gears of War was the game that introduced the angry Marcus Phoenix and his buddies to the world. IN Ultimate Edition the developers painted the world, removed the abundance of gray, worked out the details, but left the game mechanics original. You can mow down hordes of locusts, cut enemies with a lancer, jumping from cover to cover. Gears of War's co-op mode is one of the best in the genre. From the point of view of gameplay, all parts are good for co-op, but the Ultimate Edition will delight you with pictures, details and dynamics. Also in the co-op you can play Gears of War 4, the game is available.

HALO: THE MASTER CHIEF COLLECTION

Halo: The Master Chief Collection can be considered a prime example of a quality reissue, which not only has well-polished graphics, but also presents the classic Halo multiplayer, made with the utmost precision and accuracy. Perfectly implemented cooperative game mode and the vibrant atmosphere of the best space shooter. The Master Chief's universe deserves your attention.

ROCKET LEAGUE

Play

Rocket League is an interesting mix of racing and football. The goal is simple: a team of several riders (1 to 4) must hit the ball into the goal. But if you try to rewrite the laws of physics, add non-killable cars and turbo acceleration, you get RL. The cars have very sensitive control, they easily enter sheer walls, jump on the suspension and take off at acceleration. Rocket League is a crazy, driving, and disastrously fun game that must be played together.

FIFA / NBA / NHL

Never neglect the classics. It may seem that sports simulators have already reached their maximum and with each new release, only the cover and the base of athletes change. However, it is not. A lot is changing inside the gameplay: the developers add new modes, improve the graphics, refine the technique and movement of athletes. Games have a HotSeat mode, that is, there is a cooperative with the ability to play on one screen. Favorite team in real life can not win the Super Bowl for a long time? But with you at the helm? Who knows!

This is a music simulator that is completely dedicated to rock. A set of controllers (2 guitars, drums and a microphone) can be purchased with the game. Rock Band 4 supports up to 4 players. You can choose who plays guitar, who sings, and who jumps out with the drums. Create your group and go ahead to conquer the star Olympics. Looking for something to play on Xbox One to enjoy? Or planning a New Year's gift for the owner of this console? In both cases, your eyes are likely to run up from a huge number of names. To help you make your choice, we've compiled a list of 11 of the best Xbox One games to date.

But before moving on directly to the games, let's turn to the eternal question.

AAA or indie?

The Xbox One console has come a long way since its release in 2013. Microsoft fixed the discovered hardware bugs by releasing the One S first and then the One X earlier this year. But the main problem of the console remained unresolved: we are talking about the lack of exclusive games that are not available on other platforms. In recent years, third-party games released on Xbox One as exclusives have been released over time on other platforms, including Windows (and sometimes even macOS) via Steam.

This often happened with the PS4, but the difference between Sony is that it itself releases games that, accordingly, do not go beyond the PlayStation. Not to say that there are no worthy exclusives at all on Xbox One. Another thing is that rarely is it something outside the eternal Halo-Forza-Gears of War. So now all hope is for indie. Microsoft has promised to fix this in the future, so the situation may change in a couple of years.

Microsoft proved that indie games could find their audience on consoles when it released Braid on the Xbox 360 in 2008. Nine years later, the situation has changed significantly. The Nintendo Switch has become home to niche projects, while the number of blockbusters that Sony offers exclusively for the PS4 is growing steadily. In acknowledgment of the brutal reality, Xbox chief Phil Spencer admitted last month that the company hadn't invested enough in developing its own games. He plans to fix it next year. Moreover, we are talking about both the purchase of projects and contracts with developers and studios.

In general, indies are now practically the only interesting exclusives on Xbox One. In the same time, quality Microsoft won't learn to play AAA games until it stops thinking on the scale of Forza and Gears of War alone. Note that indie isn't always a bad thing. After all, the most expensive indie game today is the infamous Minecraft, which is now owned by Microsoft. So it's no surprise that he opens up our list of the best-of-the-best.

Since purchasing the game in 2015, Microsoft has made significant improvements to the graphics, but has managed not to ruin all of its pixel charm. Most importantly, the game has become cross-platform, so that people around the world have the opportunity to play together regardless of what they are playing on. Surprisingly, the "soulfulness" of Minecraft has not disappeared from these changes and it is still addictive. Next year, the graphics will be improved again with HDR and more detailed textures. This excellent game with high-quality original graphics will remain a must-have item in the collection of almost every gamer for a long time.

The second game from Playdead, developers of Limbo, showed what they can do if they try to make the game a little more understandable for the player. Inside is a physics-based platformer that tells the story of a young boy trying to infiltrate a research facility. Although at some point it will seem that it is impossible to complete the game, an interesting plot makes you move on. While the sci-fi and dystopian genres of a game aimed at teens are almost guaranteed to mean something like The Hunger Games, Inside's case is more like Black Mirror. By the time you see the end credits, all the frustration of countless defeats will be gone, influenced by one of the craziest endings in modern video games.

If you're looking to play this Blizzard masterpiece, we recommend the Xbox One version. It is very convenient to play with friends using Xbox live, thanks to which it is incredibly easy to distribute the volume between the game and the voice chat, add new people to the team, and even broadcast through Mixer on the Microsoft console. Overwatch came out last year, but it is still popular and not boring. At the same time, the Blozzard team is only fueling the excitement of players by adding new characters, modes and locations - and for free. So, by purchasing Overwatch, you automatically provide yourself with all the innovations that only the imagination of the developers is enough for.

Cuphead

After a series of transfers, Cuphead is finally released this year - and on several platforms at once, including the Xbox One. This side-scroller from Studio MDHR is close in spirit to classics like Contra and Ghouls' n Ghosts - and the graphic style only complements that feeling of retro nostalgia. At the same time, the creators took not the usual 8- or 16-bit games, but hand-drawn cartoons of the 30s as a visual reference. But in order to win, you will have to distract from the colorful design and animation and concentrate on passing: memorize the level scheme, the location of enemies and the tactics of boss attacks. Cuphead can be challenging even for seasoned players, but this distinctive project is worth all "I can't do this anymore" and the game will close.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection

The Halo series has been Microsoft's gold mine since the first game was released on the Xbox in 2001. But in recent years, aversion to the series and its shortcomings has grown steadily. Therefore, we recommend the Master Chief Collection (MCC), a collection of the best and most iconic parts of the franchise with improved graphics and a unique mission selection menu with support for sorting by topic. Want to complete the introductory level of each game in turn? You are welcome. Interested only in missions in which you need to drive a car? This is not a problem. In addition, in MCC, all locations are available for online play. While most players have made it to Halo 5: Guardians, it's a good way to remember your first LAN mission in Halo.

Forza horizon 3

Forza Horizon 3 isn't just the newest racing game from Microsoft. It is also the best game in forza series today. Unlike the main Forza Motorsport series, in this installment get ready to hit the floor and do whatever madness you can. This is more of an arcade game than a simulator - but that also doesn't mean accuracy isn't important. The laws of physics still work here. Tired of beaches and jungles? The Blizzard Mountain DLC will show you the difficulty of driving in inclement weather. Another add-on, Hot Wheels, is flooding the streets with toy cars from Cars.

Alan wake

The main advantage of the Xbox One is backward compatibility. Simply put, on it you can play all the games from the huge library of Xbox 360, while PlayStation 4 players are deprived of most of the PlayStation 3 masterpieces. Alan Wake from Remedy Games became the first Microsoft exclusive back in 2010. The main character is a writer whose life has been invaded by dark creatures from a novel he once wrote. The quiet town of Bright Falls and its inhabitants are gradually seized by a dark entity, turning both people and even objects into terrible enemies. To defeat them, firearms will not be enough. First you need a flashlight or torch to "burn" evil spirits - and only after that the enemy can be destroyed.

Orient and the blind forest

Ori and the Blind Forest will break your heart in just 10 minutes of play. After that, however, it will become easier - at least emotionally. In the best traditions of Super Metroid and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Ori invites the player to explore a huge 2D world in which secrets can be hidden in the most conspicuous place, and as the characters progress, new passages will be discovered in familiar locations. Amazing music and high quality graphics perfectly complement the gameplay. If you like physics-based platformers like Super Meat Boy, Ori and the Blind Forest, it's almost guaranteed to be to your liking. Now is also a great time to go through it: Microsoft has already ordered a sequel from the developers.

When Microsoft bought Rare Ware back in 2002, the biggest question for players was whether this meant the resurrection of the legendary Killer Instinct series. So it was, but due to constant transfers, the release stretched out for 11 years - and in the end, the development was completely transferred to Iron Galaxy. Microsoft, for its part, has added new heroes: General Raam from Gears of War, Arbiter from Halo, and Rush from the legendary Battletoads for the NES. Now the number of available characters in the fighting game is confidently tending to 30, and the combat system pleases no less than at one time on the Super NES and N64. Story Mode is ideal for solo players, while training against AI that simulates the play style of real people on your friends list. This is something like the Drivatar system from Forza, only in KI you don't need to overtake the enemy, but beat.

Quantum Break combines elements of a third-person shooter with an interactive cinema genre, in which the decisions made by the player influence how each episode ends. To solve puzzles and get rid of the enemy, you have to use not only weapons, but also time manipulation. The fact is that, according to the plot, errors in the space-time continuum led to the fact that time began to collapse. Because of this, time in the game periodically stops - and it doesn't matter what happens at that moment. Everything can freeze in place at the moment when a barge crashes into a suspension bridge or a helicopter attacks an office building. This makes the game unique - and beautiful. Speaking of beauty, the developers have prepared for the release of the Xbox One X and released a patch with better graphics. So if you have the latest console from Microsoft, Quantum Break is a must-have.

Not sure which games to buy for your Xbox One? Check out our list of the best projects for this platform. If your Xbox One library is missing at least half of these games, you are missing out on a lot.

Far Cry 5 and A Way Out were recently added to our selection of Xbox One games, which amazed us with their expansive open world and intense co-op gameplay, respectively. The Sea of \u200b\u200bThieves also suggested itself, but the game lacked depth to take one of the places in the selection - nevertheless, this is a rather fun project that deserves your attention. We'll continue to keep an eye on upcoming games and add to our list of the best Xbox One titles.

This list is graced with great Xbox One games, which include classics like Forza Motorsport 7 and Gears of War 4, as well as many others like The Witcher 3 and Assassin's Creed Origins, which are among the most significant releases for Xbox One X. there are many truly outstanding games to be found in every genre.

So let's take a look at the best Xbox One games. This is a relatively small selection of 25 items, which included only the undisputed favorites of their genres. And the competition among them is really tough.

Dropouts from the main list

If we were told that 96% of accidents in Australia are due to the fact that drivers admire the scenery, forgetting to follow the road, we would believe it without question. All you need to do is play Forza Horizon 3, a game that will show you what your Xbox One is capable of. This is an incredibly beautiful racing simulator with carefully recreated car models and dynamic races on the roads of Australia, which will impress both avid racers and fans of photorealistic graphics. This is definitely the best part of the Forza franchise, and in nearly all time.

The brand isn't strongly associated with Microsoft's console, but that doesn't negate the fact that Final Fantasy 15 is one of the best RPGs of the year. It combines a vast open world, created by all standards of Western RPGs, and the standard for Final Fantasy anime atmosphere, in places reduced to healthy absurdity. This mixture works great, thanks to which we have a rich world full of ferocious monsters, huge magic crystals and powerful magic.

At times, Final Fantasy 15 seems like a jumble of ideas, but all the elements presented (a strange world, exciting real-time battles and pleasant characters accompanying you throughout the adventure) add up to something incredible. This is arguably the best Final Fantasy game in years; this game fully lives up to its expectations.

After numerous transfers, Cuphead finally came out and instantly became one of the best games for the Xbox One - it will definitely appeal to all shooter fans (you can learn more about it in our review). Visually, the game adheres to the cartoon style of the 1930s (in particular, the Betty Boop shorts and the Silly Symphonies series from Disney), while the gameplay was clearly inspired by projects such as Mega Man, Contra, Metal Slug and Gunstar Heroes.

The levels here are not particularly long, but the whole point lies in the complexity of the game, which requires you to be careful and remember the sequence of actions of opponents. Each boss is a real test of strength, and the pleasure of defeating them is simply beyond words.

* leave all your complaints in the comments

Yes, we are well aware of all the problems of this collection, but it would be unwise to deny the skill of its creators. The genius of Bungie and the love of Studio 343 all rolled into one is how you can summarize this industry-leading set.

A polished and revamped collection of legendary titles titled The Master Chief Collection makes you wonder if Halo has always looked this great. And you know what? At the time of its release, each part looked as dignified as the entire collection today.

The first minutes of a match in Rainbow Six: Siege are more like a slasher than a dashing first person shooter. A stomping sound comes from the roof, which does not bode well. People who have settled in the house havetily make traps and obstacles, imitating the hero of the movie "Home Alone". Enemies begin to ram the door, creating panic. This kind of tension is common in most horror games.

But as soon as you come face to face with the opposing team, the game throws you into the midst of a harsh and unforgiving military sketch, where deep strategy is in the first place. Carefully work out your tactics and achieve victory in the short but intense rounds of one of the most addictive multiplayer shooters on Xbox One.

The Halo series is known for its balance between campaign and multiplayer, but in this part, the developers have focused on the multiplayer component. The story of Locke the soldier chasing the Chief isn't nearly as epic as we'd like, but we're excited about the most striking multiplayer in the franchise. Halo 5: Guardians invites us to plunge into the exciting world of online battles. The good old arena, returned to Halo, is a classic shooting ground, made according to all the canons of the genre.

If you want something more inventive, then at your service is the "War Zone" mode, where you will find large-scale battles based on the system of collecting maps. Moreover, just recently, Studio 343 announced that the new "Big Team Fights" mode and the updated version of Blood Gulch will be available for free. Welcome home.

Imagine a beautiful and graceful book of fairy tales ... which slams shut over and over again, leaving bruises and bleeding wounds on your fingers. This is Ori and the Blind Forest, a game from Microsoft that was created by a group of retro enthusiasts, given a decent budget (and freedom) to develop a worthy successor to classic platformers.

The game is not only a great example of how you can bring the recognizable mechanics of Metroid and Castlevania into modern conditions, combining it with a touching story, but it is deservedly considered the most beautiful 2D project of all time. Therefore, passing by this masterpiece is highly discouraged.

Shadow of War, with its rich world and carefully crafted mechanics, is the perfect sequel - battles are more dynamic, the environment is more detailed, and all elements interact perfectly with each other. It is also one of the most beautiful games for the Xbox One X. It is also worth noting the impressive scale of the project. It will take you about 15 hours to complete the prologue alone; 25 - to open the entire map, so do not think that a couple of evenings will be enough for you to go through.

The Nemesis system, iconic for the series, has also been improved, which now includes entire storylines dedicated to battles with orcs - the development of these heroes depends on whether they won the battle with you or not. The game also has castles that can be captured, and the ability to create your own armies. Even if you love The Lord of the Rings, the local open world will not leave you indifferent.

FIFA 18 introduced a number of innovations to the already well-established formula: for example, long-distance shots can now be more effective, and the soccer ball itself spins in the air in much the same way as in real life. The AI \u200b\u200bof the opponents has also improved, and each player has acquired his own unique style of play, which must be taken into account when drawing up team tactics.

The single-player mode remained in place, where we have to get used to the role of the chosen football player and which sometimes includes matches from the regular campaign. The latter, by the way, allowed FIFA 18 to bypass PES this year, because this includes the most big number sports leagues among all football simulators. And finally, the FIFA Ultimate Team mode has been improved, which can now be played without investing real money

Wolfenstein: The New Order is one of the most brutal, fun and clever shooters of our generation. The sequel from MachineGames, called The New Colossus, confidently multiplies all the achievements of its predecessor by two. BJ Blaskowitz's touching story is transported to the 60s in an alternate universe where America was conquered by the Nazis.

Before us is a rather bold statement on the topic of prejudice, cruelty and insensitivity, which is not complete without quite appropriate humor. This is a game that makes you think, and, importantly, it gives you plenty of shooting at the crowds of Nazis, without being embarrassed by especially bloody scenes.

After the announcement of Battlefield 1, we feared that a disastrous World War would appear on DICE's resume. The fact is that bloody and tragic military conflicts from history are not the best playground for a fun shooter. However, the anthology format presented in the game turned out to be extremely successful - with its help we were able to immerse ourselves in the very thick of the action, considering it from different points of view and without losing the thought of how much human lives are devalued in war.

The story of how a British chauffeur turns into a tanker has an incredible emotional depth that has never been seen before in Battlefield. But before us is not a tearful drama - this is an epic shooter that shows the war in all its details; and this is a unique project for the Xbox One console. The multiplayer mode for 64 people will keep you entertained for months. This is a game that surpassed all expectations.

Don't be fooled by the snowy landscapes; This is a fast-paced action adventure game with explosions, chases and great gunfights that until recently was only available to owners of (ahem) other consoles. A virtual walk through beautiful locations gracefully flows into a struggle for survival, after which it turns into stealth leading to brutal action - before us is a worthy embodiment of a video game icon, served on the grand scale of a big-budget Hollywood blockbuster.

At a time when other games try to impress us with open worlds with content that will last for weeks, Rise of the Tomb Raider is not shy about its nature - it is a thrilling ride that lasts for about 10 hours, but every minute spent in it will leave a lot of positive emotions. Unless, of course, you don't count those moments where Lara dies through your fault. There is little fun in this.

The list of the best Xbox One games just couldn't do without Forza. Improved AI, collision system, updated controls - all this in Forza Motorsport 7 is made at the highest level, as befits a decent racing simulator. The cars are pleasant to drive, and you really feel like you are in the driver's seat when you start the car into a long drift or bump into a fence. We must admit that the game skillfully corrects all the shortcomings of the previous part.

This is definitely the best game in the series, which creates a realistic and fun experience for the gamer. Of course, some of the races presented may seem a little difficult, but if you gain experience in numerous races and various championships, then you simply stop paying attention to it.

Somewhere during the fourth act, when a real hell was happening on the screen, bullets flew in all directions, blood gushed rivers, and we crumbled enemies who were picking up close with chainsaws and tried to kill snipers who were entrenched in the distance, unimaginably beautiful music played. As if the Lord Himself was singing: "I am wildly sorry for Gears of War: Judgment." Apologies are accepted.

A bloodbath called Gears of War 4 introduces us to an army of new monsters, each of which requires individual tactics, and new ideas for the combat system. Which means we have the first sequel since Gears 2 to wow fans without sacrificing the excellent cover-shooting that made the series famous. And we don't need more.

Most cooperative games boil down to the fact that sometimes there are several doors on the levels, which can only be opened by two people. There are similar doors in A Way Out, only the game itself develops the concept of cooperative passage much better.

Both players are constantly given different tasks, which are necessarily related to each other and which allow you to fully experience the importance of teamwork. Lots of memorable scenes await you, from fixing your car to escaping from the prison, which will eventually lead to an incredibly strong ending.

Let's face it. The Resident Evil series has been feeling out of place for several years now. And this situation has clearly dragged on. After the incredible success of RE 4, which actually laid the foundations for the third-person shooter genre, the franchise began to slowly sink into mediocrity. However, in 2017, RE is finally back to basics, reminding all of its fans what real fear is. Resident Evil 7, which turned the established laws of the series, is a first-person survival horror game set on an old Louisiana farm where the protagonist searches for his missing wife. Villains straight from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre? In place.

Creepy body horror. One more check mark. And, of course, an exciting story that does not let go until the very end. Resident Evil 7 boldly breaks the stereotypes created in the previous installments and offers us a truly unpredictable adventure. Of course, the iconic herbs for the series have not disappeared anywhere, but in all other respects it is completely that makes you wander through ominous corridors even when you most want to lock yourself in a safe room and not go anywhere.

If in a shooter it is possible to run on walls, jump from them and climb into gigantic mechanical Titans on the fly, then this shooter instantly attracts our attention. Titanfall 2 falls into this category. “Where is the single-player company?” We grumbled when the first Titanfall came out in 2014. “Convinced!” Respawn responded. “Here's a sequel with a story about a pilot and his Titan. In it, you will gradually open up weapons for the Titan, each of which looks like it can smash the universe to pieces.

It will have a level in which you can travel through time by pressing only one button. It will feature hours of dizzying and inventive action that will make every shooter since Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare look dull. Are you satisfied now? " Yes, now we were satisfied. We also appreciated the Bounty Hunt multiplayer mode (a real nightmare for capitalists) and promise not to call Respawn studio lazy anymore.

Since Valve is not going to make Team Fortress 3, why shouldn't Blizzard release it. The developers of World of Warcraft previously bypassed the shooter genre, and therefore it is still difficult to believe that Overwatch has become one of the best multiplayer FPS. The game features a motley set of bright heroes, each of which has abilities that in theory violate the balance (Tracer can rewind time!), But in reality everything works surprisingly well.

That is, we can fire arrows as much as we want, call dragons, create walls of ice and rewind time without feeling like cheaters. The game is already a year old, and the only thing you can find fault with is Tracer's unnatural accent. Based on this logic, if Blizzard ever decides to invite players to dinner, it will prepare so many dishes that the problem of world hunger will be solved in a matter of hours.

After the endless gameplay of the first installment that took weeks of the lives of millions of gamers, what could Destiny 2 have to offer to surpass the original? The answer is obvious: everything is the same, but multiplied by two. In the sequel, virtually every detail - space travel, weapon collectibles and MMO elements - has been expanded and polished to a shine.

Every little detail in the game indicates that Bungie has done extensive work on the mistakes made in the first part, adding depth to the character progress system and diversifying the set of tasks that must be completed for this progress. As a result, we got a game in which single battles, multiplayer battles and hero leveling look equally nice.

After the previous installments, it might seem that the series simply has nothing to surprise us with, but Far Cry 5 again raises the bar of quality to a new level thanks to its excellent design and rich world. This is a more straightforward game, in which routine side quests give way to the iconic action and chaos of the series. Yes, we are still freeing bases and shooting villains in huge locations, but now there is no need to spend long hours crafting or looking for towers.

All of this is in the past, and the game focuses on gunfights, fires and clashes with wild animals. The chosen setting is also interesting - the fictional state of Montana turned out to be quite realistic. Moreover, you can play the game in co-op, and if you get tired of it, you can always switch to the arcade level editor and create a couple of new locations.

The biggest blockbuster game deserves a top five spot. GTA 5, and at the time of its release, was an excellent and verified to the smallest detail project with a gorgeous open world, and on Xbox One it played with new colors, as it had improved graphics, a lot of new content and the ability to beat pedestrians in a first-person view.

In addition, the game has acquired a fresh online component - a mode of cooperative robberies. Thus, Rockstar gave us a vast and rich world in which from the very first seconds you can do whatever you can think of. At the end of the day, this is exactly what we expect from GTA.

Minecraft, whose fame has not faded to this day, is a game that can be amazingly simple or incredibly difficult. Whether you're building your world in creative mode or trying to stretch out another day in survival mode, Mojang's masterpiece generates unique and unrepeatable situations every time. This is a world in which you can spend an eternity.

Moreover, this world is constantly evolving, delighting us with new textures, new gameplay features and other improvements that erase even hints of stagnation. If you associate Minecraft only with the ubiquitous green blocks, then it's time to catch up.

4. Assassin's Creed Origins

Assassin's Creed Origins is a long-awaited reboot that the series needed so much. And it turned out exactly as we had hoped. In addition, the game can be safely called one of the reasons to buy the Xbox One X console, because the updated graphics looks just amazing. This Assassin's Creed has turned into a full-fledged RPG with an open world, character leveling, creative kills and pliable gameplay. An adventure in ancient Egypt will delight many with a mass of side quests, details and secrets that can be searched for days on end.

And the redesigned combat system works perfectly with a fully customizable gear system. (Twin blades and a poisoned shield? A sword that increases health, and a bow with controlled arrows? You can craft all this without any problems). Add in the witty storytelling, as well as the impressive number of options for completing each mission, and you have the perfect reboot of the Assassin's Creed series, which, symbolically, tells the story of the birth of the Order of Assassins.

3. Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain

If we were not familiar with the history of the creation of this game, then we would confidently say that the last part of Metal Gear Solid was developed by Konami studio without the participation of Hideo Kojima, since the game is very different from the past creations of the master. Yes, it was not without the typical jokes of the series, insane mechanisms and even more insane conspiracy theories that seem to have been collected from the very depths of the Internet, but this is clearly not one of those games that usually come from the pen of Kojima.

The shift in emphasis to an impressive open world, where the action of many missions unfolds, not only made the game a kind of master class for all stealth action developers, but also gave players freedom of choice - in fact, we became the directors of our own spy films. Have you pulled off a convoluted multi-level heist? Be aware that scripts have nothing to do with it - this is solely your merit.

Everything did not go according to plan, and you had to detonate the explosives planted at the enemy base, and then fly off into the sunset on a mechanical chicken? So, at that moment you were the author of the script. In the past, many noted that Hideo Kojima likes quoting his favorite films more than creating games. But MGS 5 proves that this is wrong - Kojima wants us to quote our favorite pictures ourselves. And we will gladly spend several hundred hours on this.

We knew from the very beginning what awaited us. Something massive and something buggy, because we're talking about Bethesda. Fallout 4 is an example of natural evolution - a game in which the sometimes meaningless exploration of the world, pleasant humor and the system of moral choice from the past two parts coexist with elements new to the genre. This, of course, is not a revolutionary breakthrough, but the voice acting of the protagonist, and (shock!) The ability not to look into the boxes to pick up their contents, definitely benefited the game.

Do not think that periodic drops in frame rate and bugs of varying severity are left out, but you are less angry with them, because the game skillfully juggles the attention of gamers, switching it from one detail to another. Bethesda has once again packed the material into one project that could be enough for a couple of games of different genres, presenting us with perhaps the most intense game of this generation. As soon as you start it, you will be stuck in it for weeks.

Perhaps the most addictive RPG of all time, featuring a distinctive and memorable storyline, a series of contracts that are more surprising than the last, and a set of stunning side quests, some of which exceed the depth of the stories told in most modern games. The world of Witcher 3 really deserves to be called a world - it is full of political intrigue, its own folklore and, of course, monsters, which must be cut into small pieces.

A separate advantage of the project from CD Projekt RED is a set of completely free DLCs, the first of which, Hearts of Stone, we officially call the reason that the game came to the first place in this collection. This is a beautiful, inventive and iconic game for the genre, which will not be forgotten in decades.
