Mission of good. Volga Orthodox Institute named after St. Alexy, Metropolitan of Moscow, in Tolyatti. Volga Orthodox Institute. Saint Alexy PPI to Saint Alexy

Orthodox program of Samara Metropolis.

We have already visited the classical Orthodox gymnasium, the Humanitarian College of Togliatti, and today the Miscellaneous Orthodox Institute named after St. Alexy, Metropolitan of Moscow, who became the final link of the system of continuous humanitarian and Orthodox education. This is a unique project that combines the use of innovative methods and learning tools with a saturated student life and spiritual and moral upbringing.

Archpriest Dimitri Leskin, Rector of the Volga Orthodox Institute:

We went to the realization of this dream. It is clear, it is not easy to create a full-fledged higher educational institution in modern RussiaWhen the educational institutions are mainly "collected", and branches are closed in the non-state sector, and even the full-fledged government agencies are now enlarged and united. This process is natural, it is objective, but an educational institution, like our, who does not unite with anyone, nor consolidate, because they are only three in Russian Federation, two of them are in Moscow. We are the only provincial (I don't really like this word) an educational institution of a similar type outside the capital, so it would be impossible to create it without serious help of the state, otherwise it would be some kind of such a very professional intransigence. And for us, from the very beginning it was very important that this was also a project for open and very deep interaction between the church and the state.

The university is firmly on the fact that traditional humanitarian preparation is the main thing, and the main educational direction here is pedagogy.

Archpriest Dimitri Leskin:

You know that in the nineties, in zero years, pedagogy was considered the way for losers (so was formatted public opinion), For those who could not realize themselves on other fields. So we are trying in the Orthodox Institute to completely change this presentation and form an attitude to pedagogy, pedagogical work, teacher's work as a sacred, noble and extremely popular.

Here are preparing teachers of primary classes, teachers-historians, teachers in the field of economics and law. These specialists are now especially lacking in schools. As part of the course "Interactive Technologies in Education", students explore robotics.

V.A. Zorkin, Head of Information Technology Support, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Informatics of the Volga Orthodox Institute Togliatti:

For interactive information technology future, and they will be in any case in any school, in an educational institution. And it is necessary to make our graduates come and not frightened this workplace, and could have showed themselves with best sideAnd use it to teach future generations of new knowledge and make it most efficient.

Since last year, the Department of Musical Education has been operating in the Orthodox Institute.

E.N. Prasolov, Head of the Department of Music Education of the Volga Orthodox Institute, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation:

We learn and the pianists and the musicians of the wind (flute), drum tools, that is, they teach the game almost on any musical instrument, as well as vocal art, on this department you can get a corresponding musical education. There are highly professional specialists, laureates of international competitions, active performers. And all teachers have a rich pedagogical experience, work experience.

However, pedagogy is not the only direction. Preparation is conducted on programs such as domestic and foreign philology, economics and catering. Classical humanitarian education is impossible without in-depth study of foreign languages. Pedagogues are engaged in students - native speakers. Theological direction in the Orthodox Institute priority, but not massive.

Archpriest Dimitri Leskin:

Theology, in my opinion, is a direction to which it is advisable to come after the first diploma - secular higher education. So, in fact, it was both in the old days: theology was called the Queen of Science - the philosophy itself was a servant, according to Anselma Kenterbury, who carries a lamp in front of his Lord. Therefore, we have a small theological department. At the same time, I believe that here our chief partner is the Samara Spiritual Seminary, where the theological program is the main, the main, where future priests are being prepared.

Regardless of the specialty, all students of the Orthodox Institute study the introduction to the Orthodox creed, the Old Town and the New Testament, the liturgical, the history of Christian art, painting, church singing and reading.

O.A. Lyshova, First Vice-Rector of the Volga Orthodox Institute of Tolyatti, Candidate of Sociological Sciences, Associate Professor:

Our guys are produced, having the right to teach the foundations of Orthodox culture in schools - today such specialists are not enough. Actually, they can talk about other religions professionally, that is, to give knowledge at a good professional level.

Wonderview orientation - this is exactly how teachers define the main features of their institute.

O.A. Lysova:

We believe that it raises and forms young students-students cultural and educational environment. Therefore, our university, along with the fact that it gives training students on pedagogical and humanitarian specialties and a number of others, pays a lot of attention to issues (we call them) formation of general cultural competencies.

And she is formed different ways, and even with choral singing.

G.N. Devyatkina, teacher of choir disciplines of the Volga Orthodox Institute of Togliatti, Honored Worker of Culture:

It's not only educational processThis image of the institute is the spiritual development of each student. They will be teachers, primary school teachers, subjects. They must be comprehensively developed.

With the same purpose of philologists, for example, attract to the release of the student newspaper. And at the first year, the guys are engaged in choreography, participate in the carnival balas - they pass, like other acts of the institute, in the atrium: this space is an area of \u200b\u200bnearly 600 meters, of course, the architectural dominant of the educational part of the building, and, although the construction of the institution has not yet Completed, he already fulfills an educational, cultural and even museum function.

O.A. Lysova:

Initially, the university was designed (he cannot but be such) as an open platform for public discussions of people who are not indifferent to education, culture, to the revival of popular Russian traditions. Therefore, our cultural and educational projects occupy a great place - I will call several. This is the Philharmonic of the Volga Orthodox Institute (once a month we in the hall of the industry training CenterWe have been granted to the Volga Auto Plant, we hold concerts charitable for the city's population), this is a different kind of exhibition, "Music Thursdays", living rooms in the walls of our institute who attend the inhabitants of the city.

The university acts as a social partner in the implementation of regional education and education programs. For example, in November 2017, the 1st Volga Pedagogical Forum was held here on innovation in the system of continuous pedagogical education. Hundreds of visitors from Tolyatti and other cities of the region are every day at the Institute's Museum Exhibition Center. The virtual branch of the State Russian Museum of St. Petersburg is opened here, exhibitions are held. On the day of filming, the center was opened the exposition of the Togliatti artist Igor Panova.

O.V. Syamina, head of the Museum and Exhibition Center of the Volga Orthodox Institute of Togliatti, Candidate of Cultural Studies, Associate Professor:

Our students are already employees of our center. Their work is carried out in three main directions. This is a theoretical block. Scheduled classes where they get acquainted with the basics of museum-excursion work, in general with modern approaches to museum-excursion activities. The second direction is the practitioners that they undergo on the basis of our Museum Exhibition Center. In particular, they spend excursions. Now we finish the development of an interactive excursion for the exhibition Igor Panova. In addition, they are entrusted to conduct review tours of the institute, participate in various projects that are implemented on the basis of the Museum Exhibition Center. The third, also a very important direction - the implementation of own projects. Thus, students working in our museum receive very important competencies. And I do not exclude that, maybe many of them will further choose this direction as the main sphere of their professional activitybecause they have an interest in this very big.

The temple, which is located at the Orthodox Institute, is the real decoration of the automotive region, and the whole city. It is made in the high traditions of the unaware style.

Archpriest Dimitri Leskin:

IN soviet years He did not complain, and therefore he was given the derogatory name "Pseudorussian style". But he is no pseudo, but invoking Russian, our national style, which is undoubtedly pleased with any person looking at the building, in this style performed, because they play the most intimate strings in the soul of man.

It is called the temple in honor of the three saint: Vasily the Great, Grigory Theologian and John of Zlatoust.

Ieria Alexander Orlov, the clergy of the church of three saint at the Volga Orthodox Institute of Tolyatti:

Each of them separately received a brilliant higher education, it is they show that education is an important component of the life of every person. And of course, for the Russian Orthodox Church, they are spiritual patrons and mentors of every person who receives education.

Students - wonderful time. When a person is not burdened with everyday cargo, he strives for light. It is symbolic that the walls of the institute temple are also absolutely white, clean, like the souls of the guys.

Ieria Alexander Orlov:

The heart of a young man is always more open for God, for spiritual. We have people belonging to other religious confessions, but they are not alien to participation in Orthodox worship and all sorts of events that our Orthodox Institute holds.

Worship here is held almost daily. There is a liturgical practice here, that is, students, besides what they are present in worship, now also participate in them. These are altar, this is a choir, this is a choir. The Orthodox Institute has been operating since 2014, and what we told about today is the very beginning of its development. And the inseparable bond with the rest of the educational system makes this way even more significant.

O.A. Lysova:

I am sure that our university has a great future and our graduates will be recognizable in the future. They will definitely benefit from Russia and will remain in their profession.

Ivan graduated from Orthodox classical gymnasium in 2010.

I.N. Makeev, 1 course student, teacher of the liturgical practice of the Volga Orthodox Institute.

Probably, the most important thing is that there is in life, the same rod that holds a person all his life. In principle, I gained interests there, hobbies, which then grew into something more. "Wings" I was able to uncover there. After the issue, I entered RSU in the specialty "Management", and the thrust for music still remained. That is, the threshold of the Orthodox gymnasium does not ends spiritual work. I guess I waited until the institute was completed to come here. At first I got into it as a teacher, and now as a student of the first course of the musical department.

Archpriest Dimitri Leskin:

With great joy, I always testify that we have already appeared graduates who returned to work in the Orthodox gymnasium. This means that the cycle passed. This means that an educational institution can already reproduce yourself, and this is the most joyful and most precious. And I want to thank everyone who for many many years has supported our Orthodox Gymnasium, Humanitarian College, Institute.
