The most interesting games for x boxing 360. All games. Gears of War series

Attic

A huge number of games were released on the Xbox 360, so it's impossible to please everyone. So don't be discouraged if you don't find your favorite game on our list.

alan wake

The game from Entertainment, which gave us Max Payne, is King's scary. This is the story of a writer who went to the sleepy town of Bright Falls for inspiration, and found only nightmares there. To cope with them, he will have to enlist the support of the few remaining sane residents of the city, a powerful flashlight and a trusty shotgun. You will definitely not forget this adventure soon ...

Dead space

In Dead Space, the player finds himself on, captured by the creepy ones known as the Necromorphs. A team of engineers is sent to repair the USG Ishimura, the mining ship that sent the distress signal. The player becomes Isaac Clarke, one of the engineers at CEC, a commercial organization dedicated to deep space exploration and mining. The game was conceived as a psychological horror shooter and has accomplished that goal perfectly. This is one of those games where you know that if it gets too quiet, then something terrible will happen. Moreover, monsters often suddenly jump out of ventilation and scare to death. The game has received rave reviews from critics for its storyline, beautiful level design and incredible atmosphere.

Limbo

The Xbox Live Arcade service appeared on the first Xbox, but it was with the release of the Xbox 360 that it reached its heyday, when independent developers really began to bring their games to the market. Thanks to this service, a number of great games have been released. Limbo was a 2D puzzle platformer from independent developer Playdead. This was their first game, and it was very interesting: the story of a boy who was looking for his missing sister, avoiding the traps and enemies who constantly tried to kill him. The game was praised for its interesting, simple controls and frightening death scenes.

Far cry 3

Far Cry 3 gives the player the opportunity to explore an open tropical world with dynamic gunfights and RPG elements such as skill trees and systems. The story tells about the kidnapping of the main character, Jason Brody, by a group led by one of the main characters, Vaas. The game received a lot of good reviews for its long and interesting story missions, an impressive shooting model, and a huge exploration game for the player.

Braid

Braid originally came out on Xbox Live Arcade. Some features set the game apart from others with puzzles, for example, the ability to manipulate time, which changes depending on the level, or an extremely mysterious story. All we know is that our hero's name is Tim, he saves the princess from the "monster" and made a "big mistake". The game was praised for its thoughtful puzzles, beautiful landscapes and striking music.

Forza Motorsport 3

During the existence of the Xbox 360, a huge number of races came out on it, so choosing a game for our list was quite difficult. We settled on Forza Motorsport 3. It had over four hundred player-tuned cars and over a hundred tracks. New elements have been added to the game, such as steering assistance and the ability to include a first person view so you can really feel like you're in the driver's seat. It was critically acclaimed and received nine awards, including the 2009 Best Spike Video Game Awards.

forza horizon

If Forza Motorsport is serious racing on licensed tracks where skill and a properly tuned car are important, then Forza Horizon offers a completely different experience: the developers created a festival that never stops. There are many challenges in which you will travel the roads (in the sequel - Europe) and complete various goals to become the champion of Horizon in the final. Speed, freedom and a festive atmosphere are the main ingredients of a good arcade race.

Fallout 3

Games have always been niche. They were not as popular as other genres, mainly because the developers were unable to make them the way they should. However, this does not apply, and its third part once transferred the series to a completely three-dimensional space. The game takes place in post-apocalyptic Washington (DC), and the player controls a character created by his own hand, who, after the sudden disappearance of his father, was forced to leave his native walls and go in search. However, you can push the story into the background and explore an open world filled with tasks, interesting places, "Easter eggs" and facts about the game universe.

Halo 3

Who hasn't heard of Halo 3 or its predecessors at least once? After its release, the game was very popular and had many interesting features both in a single-player campaign, and for local or online battles with friends. The campaign was short, but the game focused primarily on multiplayer, supporting up to four players on a single console and up to sixteen. The game was praised a lot for its storyline, new equipment and vehicles, and of course the multiplayer mode.

Gears of War 3

Gears of War 3 had new elements that set it apart from previous installments. After the events of the second game, humanity was on the verge of extinction. Co-op is supported, up to four players online and up to two in split-screen mode on one console. There was also a new Beast Mode, where the player controlled a monster that fought the COG soldiers and became bigger and more dangerous. The game received good reviews for its voice acting, graphics and music, and sold over three million copies in its first week of sales.

fable II

Fable II gives players what few studios can bring to life - a sense of limitless freedom. In this game you can do whatever you want (except saving the world, of course): start a family, fish, explore locations with a faithful one, get a job, buy a couple of houses - in general, almost live in the game world ... And do not forget about the consequences of your actions: the appearance of your character and the attitude of the NPC towards him will change depending on the good or evil actions. You don't want your hero to grow huge horns, do you?

Batman: Arkham City

The games are usually very good or very bad, especially when it comes to the DC Comics universe, however, the Arkham series was just great. In Batman: Arkham City, the developers, Rocksteady Studios, decided to take everything that we loved so much in their previous pro game and brought their own new ideas. One of these changes was the scene: you were no longer attached to the little one and were able to travel to the part of Gotham City, which Hugo Strange turned into a prison for dangerous criminals. Naturally, you control the Dark Knight himself, hovering over the streets, watching the villains and performing dangerous tasks.

Portal 2

The first part of Portal was very successful and the public didn't want the episode to end. listened to the wishes of the fans and released the second part of Portal, which was as good as the first, and maybe even better thanks to the introduction of multiplayer and a few intriguing characters. In the single player campaign, the player controlled Chell, the main character of the first part, who was again caught and put into stasis for several years, until she was rescued by a robot named Wheatley. The multiplayer game takes place after the events of the campaign. You control Atlas and P-Body, two robots who together must overcome a series of puzzles. The game has earned positive reviews with good humor, voice acting and puzzles, the basis of gameplay mechanics.

Red dead redemption

Did you want to become a cowboy as a child? If so, then Red Dead Redemption is your game. Become John Marston, a former criminal who is determined to find his family and live his life, even if it means revenge on old friends. In addition to the main story, the game has many random skirmishes and side quests. Here you can rob cows, steal, steal carts, hunt, gamble and participate in good old duels. The game received a huge amount of accolades for its atmosphere, music and voice acting.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is an open-world fantasy RPG full of a wide variety of inhabitants: from skeletons to trolls, giants and even. The game had a huge world open to exploration, filled with secrets, random encounters, side quests, and guild quests. All this was framed by beautiful and magical landscapes. You don't need to complete the campaign to enjoy the game. As mentioned, there is always something to do here, not to mention DLC with additional content. The game was loved for the design, graphics and soundtrack with the melody of the main theme that has sunk in the hearts of many gamers.

Mass effect 2

After the events of the first game, Captain Shepard is thrown into space after an enemy ship destroyed the Normandy. He is saved by an organization known as Cerberus. The game has a more elaborate moral system with a large number of "good" and "evil" options to choose from that affect the ending, an excellent selection of characters and missions that reveal the history of some of them. The rave reviews have been earned by the voice acting, artwork, diverse characters and plot.

The orange box

The Orange Box was a set of five games that included Half-Life games with DLC, Portal, and Team Fortress 2. The box of five well-received games was doomed and received accolades. Many have even argued that it is a great example of what a compilation of games should be. By the end of November 2008, it had sold nearly three million copies, which shows how much gamers love Valve's products.

Grand theft auto 5

Yes, you knew she would be here! always stays on top, constantly improving quality, so the presence of Grand Theft Auto V on this list is completely unsurprising. The game remains true to its violent open world, but now you can steal even more cars and annoy pedestrians on them. In addition, multiplayer has been improved, with new clothing, items, and several mini-games added to keep players entertained.

The game's plot is built around three main characters - Michael, Trevor and Franklin. Each of them is a unique personality with their own story missions. The multiplayer mode is still popular. The game received rave reviews for its gameplay, multi-character playability, open world, and presentation. It became the fastest-selling entertainment product with sales of about $ 800 million on the day it was released, and in three days it broke the billion mark!

Now that the Xbox One is gaining traction, it would be nice to remember what games we bought the Xbox 360 for, one of the best consoles in the history of the industry. Of course, we will only talk about exclusive projects that you will not see anywhere except on the Microsoft console. It seems that this material will be useful not only for those who just want to remember the past, but also for those who, suddenly, missed one (or two or three) of these games.

Let us recall what is remarkable about the Xbox 360 gaming system. The main thing is that it has become a serious competitor to the PlayStation 3. The American console was bought about as readily as the Japanese one. As a result, approximately 80 million Xbox 360s were sold. The PS3 sold approximately the same number of copies. Recall that in the days of PS2 and Xbox, such results could not even be imagined. Then, Sony managed to sell more than 150 million copies of its device, while Microsoft only 25 million.

Xbox 360 Exclusives

Some of the main reasons the Xbox 360 was so popular were its ease-of-use online features and an abundance of amazing games. Let's try to figure out why we bought the Microsoft console. Well, why can you buy it today.

Viva Pinata (and Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise)

A fantastic and original farmer's simulator from the talented Rare studio was released in 2006. But the sequel, which appeared two years later, in 2008, became the real masterpiece.

The colorful Trouble in Paradise has remained just as beautiful, just as atmospheric, but at the same time much deeper and more varied. One of those cases where depth of gameplay is combined with seeming simplicity.

Dance Central (all three parts)

All three parts of Dance Central from Harmonix Music Systems are fun games worth checking out. Especially if you've purchased a Kinect. Nothing more decent on the Xbox 360 has been released for this device. The creators of Guitar Hero and Rock Band have laid out to the fullest and created a game that is fun to play with your friends, perfect party entertainment.

Well, and another reason to lose a couple of hundred calories.

Open world, superheroes, tons of possibilities, all this in a unique project Crackdown. A game completely different from GTA. Players could run through skyscrapers, fly, jump like the Hulk, fight like Hercules. Almighty characters and unique cell-shaded style ("drawn polygons") made Crackdown one of the most popular games in the genre. Pay attention to both the original and Crackdown 2.

Alas, we did not wait for the third part.

Saints row

It was then that Saints Row turned into a delusional and humorous story about superheroes, zombies and aliens. The original game, released exclusively for the Xbox 360, was a beautiful and exciting story about the career growth of a criminal within a gang. Yes, the game was reminiscent of Grand Theft Auto, but at the same time it had an exceptional taste and unique style.

I like Saints Row 2, 3 and 4. But I confess, Saints Row is much closer to me. It was she who remained in memory as the best game in the series.

Shadow complex

The first Chair game to be released in XBLA is still called the best arcade game for the Xbox 360. In fact, we have a modern Metroid with a verified gameplay and pretty 2.5D graphics.

It would seem that a rather primitive gameplay was combined here with a refined balance and incredible addiction. Shadow Complex was not easy to break away from.

Fable 2 (and Fable 3)

Following the success of the original Fable, Lionhead immediately set to work on a sequel for the Xbox 360. Fable 2 is widely considered the best game in the series. A unique world, an abundance of opportunities (same-sex marriages, children, a developed economic model, the purchase of real estate, a job system), coupled with a good combat system, gave birth to a truly unique universe to which I wanted to return over and over again.

Finally, Fable 2 has co-op. The ideas of the game were continued in Fable 3, but it was received a little cooler. Nevertheless, both Fable 2 and Fable 3 deserve to be on the list of the best games on the Xbox 360. Like ...

Fable: Anniversary

A remake of the original Fable was released on the Xbox 360 under the title Fable: Anniversary. New engine, beautiful graphics, but the same atmosphere of a chamber fairy tale. Yes, released this year (2014), Anniversary is devoid of the abundance of opportunities and the scale of the following parts.

However, it could very well be a favorite part of the series today. All because of the unique spirit of the game. Transfer it to Fable 2 and Fable 3 failed, alas, not completely.

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings

Assassins of Kings, as you know, came out of consoles only on the Xbox 360. Where it immediately became one of the best role-playing games in general. An interesting story, incredible charisma of the protagonist, vivid secondary characters and an atmosphere that is not found in any other game.

The virtual "Witcher" deserves to be on a par with the book, without a doubt.

Lost odyssey

Hironobu Sakaguchi, creator of the Final Fantasy series, and his project Lost Odyssey, released exclusively for the American console Xbox 360. Tell that to someone at the turn of the millennium, you would hardly be believed. But everything is changing.

And now, true Final Fantasy (in spirit) comes out exclusively for the Xbox 360 in 2007. Indeed, Lost Odyssey is much closer to Final Fantasy than Final Fantasy XIII itself. An epic story, colorful characters, a beautiful world and, as a bonus, one of the best soundtracks in video game history. By the way, from another Final Fantasy master, Nobuo Uematsa.

Blue dragon

Even before Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon came out on the Xbox 360, an RPG with a lighter atmosphere and more childish style. The command is the same. Celebrities include Hironobu Sakaguchi and Nobuo Uematsu. Although, no, I'm lying, Akira Toriyama, the legendary Dragon Quest character designer, had a hand in the game.

And that is exactly what Blue Dragon looks like the most. It can still be recommended today.

You should know that onLostOdyssey andBlueDragon talented teamThe Mistwalker was not going to stop. In development forXbox 360 was also a gameCryOn, designed to be the grandestJRPG in console history. Alas, the project has been canceled.

Infinite Undiscovery

However, the JRPG games on the Xbox 360 are not limited to the creations of Mistwalker. Another prime example is Infinite Undiscovery. The game was created by tri-Ace (the studio responsible for Star Ocean and Valkyrie Profile) and published by Square Enix itself.

Nice graphics, interesting characters and a fascinating plot were combined with a very unusual world and a well-thought-out combat system. A must-have for JRPG lovers.

The last remnant

Not exactly an Xbox 360 exclusive, The Last Remnant is also available on PC (but not PS3). This JRPG-project, underestimated by many, as it seems to us, deserves the closest attention.

One of the most interesting combat systems in the genre was combined here with an adult story and an unusual setting. However, yes, there were drawbacks: mostly of a technical nature.

Halo series

Without a doubt, the Xbox 360 saw the heyday of the Halo series. Out on the console:

  • Halo 3 (2007): One of the best co-op games. In addition, it is not devoid of a unique atmosphere. Today, the graphics no longer seem so impressive, but the gameplay is still incredibly fun.
  • Halo 3: ODST (2009): A more intimate story, but much more personal and soulful.
  • Halo: Reach (2010): But Reach is considered the most powerful from a dramatic point of view. To understand why this is so, you should play it.
  • Halo Wars (2009): Want an RTS in the Halo universe? Well, here it is, the real strategy, in front of you.
  • Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary (2011): Probably one of the best remakes in the history of the gaming industry. The developers did not reinvent the wheel and change the gameplay. But we approached the work with all responsibility: completely changed the visual component and finalized the original where it was required.
  • Halo 4 (2012): Although completely different people worked on Halo 4, it is considered by many to be the best part of the series. This applies to both graphics and the way the plot is presented. And the story itself, in general, too. Do we agree that Halo 4 is better than Halo 3 and Reach? Of course no. But there is no doubt that she can stand with them in the same row! Yes, Halo 4 is probably one of the most beautiful Xbox 360 games ever.

Without Halo, the game industry would never be as we know it.

We look forward to continuing!

Gears of War series

Gears of War hit the Xbox 360 in 2006 and quickly gained immense popularity as the first game in a long-running series of massive third-person action films:

  • Gears of war (2006): At that time, such games were new. Over-the-shoulder view (very convenient for warfare), stunning graphics, an interesting world and, most importantly, vivid characters. Gears of War fell in love right away.
  • Gears of War 2 (2008): But, in my opinion, the best game in the series was Gears of War 2. The developers have not only surpassed themselves, making the game incredibly diverse and, finally, colorful. The main thing about Gears of War 2 is how realistic the tragedies of the people involved in the war are. Even Metal Gear Solid didn’t have such piercing scenes as in Gears of War 2.
  • Gears of War 3 (2011): Alas, Gears of War 3 turned out to be weaker than the second part. Moreover, not only in the script, but also directly in the gameplay. However, this is one of the best fantasy action movies on the Xbox 360.
  • Gears of War: Judgment (2013): The main (alas, the only) exclusive project for the console in 2013. Another worthy sequel and, of course, one of the best co-op games for the Xbox 360.

Will Gears of War continue?

The question is open.

Alan Wake (and Alan Wake: American's Nightmare)

Without a doubt, Alan Wake has become one of the most interesting and atmospheric games for the Xbox 360. The talented developers from the studio Remedy were able to create a kind of "American" version of Silent Hill with a corresponding storyline and a crazy world.

American's Nightmare did not disappoint either. But we are still waiting for Alan Wake 2. Will we wait, the question is still open.

Forza Motorsport Series

It was on the Xbox 360 that Forza Motorsport was able to become the very series that became the main competitor of Gran Turismo.

Frankly, Forza is much closer to me. Firstly, it is brighter, and secondly, more dynamic.

  • Forza Motorsport 2 (2007): The logical continuation of the series, moving from Xbox to Xbox 360.
  • Forza Motorsport 3 (2009): And the third part has already received many awards and was recognized as one of the best races of the generation.
  • Forza Motorsport 4 (2011): Even more advanced than the third, Forza 4 has become a true "Hollywood blockbuster" from the world of virtual racing. With their star, Top Gear's Jeremy Clarkson.
  • Forza horizon (2012): More arcade variant, more reminiscent of Test Drive Unlimited and Need for Speed. At the same time, it seems to me that there is nothing better in its niche. Until Forza Horizon 2 hits Xbox One, of course.

What else to play on Xbox 360?

The most significant exclusive projects (of course, in our opinion, you can think differently) for the Xbox 360 are described above. However, of course, this is not all. By the way, if you still haven't purchased the Xbox 360, you can do it in GameStore, the online gaming store. These exclusives should also be played without fail:

  • Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts (2008): Project Rare, an incredibly diverse game. Plus, very pretty.
  • Bullet witch (2006): Dynamic battles, vivid special effects, a well-thought-out combat system and, alas, boring locations.
  • Dead or Alive 4 (2005): Part 4 came exclusively to Xbox 360.
  • Dead or alive xtreme 2 (2006): The latest Xtreme series for those who like to observe half-naked young ladies.
  • Kameo: Elements of Power (2005): This arcade game, which is still looked and played on 5+, came out with the Xbox 360.
  • Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom (2007): An action RPG that players love and for some reason reporters hate.
  • Ninety-Nine Nights (1 & 2, 2006 and 2010): Again, very unusual hack-and-slash RPGs that many players loved and most critics disliked.
  • Perfect dark zero (2005): One of the games released with the Xbox 360. At the time, an undisputed masterpiece. Now, quite a good original first-person action movie.
  • Project gotham racing (3 & 4, 2005 and 2007): If Forza hadn't existed, both of these games would be on the main list. And so, yes, you can read it. But Forza Horizon is still significantly better.
  • Prey (2006): Long-term Prey never made it to PS3. The game can be enjoyed on PC and Xbox 360. Today, of course, it no longer looks so gorgeous. However, the gameplay is not outdated at all.
  • Risen (2009): The Gothic fan will love it. The rest will probably pass (or have already passed) by. Risen is best played on PC, I admit. The port on the Xbox 360 turned out to be not very good from a technical point of view.
  • Too human (2008): Action / RPG in a world where science meets mythology (Northern), offers a unique style and an unusual storyline. However, she is criticized for the monotony and not very convenient control. In any case, I would recommend not to jump to conclusions and try the game yourself.

20

The benchmark first-person shooter that offers players an engaging storyline campaign filled with hurricane missions and cinematic action scenes. And to this day, the subsequent installments of the Call of Duty series have not been able to surpass the quality of execution and fun of "Modern Warfare", which has become entrenched in the minds of most gamers, as one of the best shooters of all time.

19 Blur

One of the best split screen racing games ever made. Fast races along well-developed city tracks, where various bonuses are scattered everywhere that can turn the tide of the race at any time. Unfortunately, split-screen arcade racing games are a rare guest in the industry these days - and that's another excuse to grab a Blur disc and play with two or three friends.

18

A great survival horror from the third person, where the main character explores the dark corridors of a space station, overrun with bloodthirsty monsters. Dead Space is often mentioned in the tops of the best horror games - and this is not in vain, because the game is really capable of scaring an unprepared user to trembling knees. All three parts of the series were performed at the same high level, so the first one can be distinguished as the initiator of this excellent horror franchise.

17 Viva Piñata

A colorful simulator for breeding and caring for funny creatures filled with sweets from the inside. Viva Piñata has received favorable reviews from both the press and ordinary gamers. Everyone, without exception, praised the excellent graphics and addictive gameplay, but noted the slightly awkward interface, which, in principle, you can get used to. At one time, the game was almost a must-buy for Xbox 360 owners, as one of the main exclusives.

16

A unique game that provides users with the opportunity to get used to the role of a real American detective of the 40-50s. Players will have to travel around the city in a car and investigate intricate crimes related to serial murders, car theft, drug overdose, arson, explosions, etc. By the way, the developers have implemented stunning animation of faces and movements of characters in the game to make it easier to determine when a suspect or witness is lying, and when he is telling the truth.

15 Batman: Arkham City

One of the best comic book video games ever made. Batman finds himself trapped in his hometown of Gotham, captured by distraught prisoners and bandits. Players will not only have to deal with a hundred or two criminals with the help of fists and branded gadgets, but also conduct real detective investigations and solve puzzles. In addition, as Batman progresses, he will face various supervillain bosses that are well known to many players: Joker, Penguin, Ras al Ghul, Mr. Freeze, Joker and many others.

14

Fans of the franchise, and many ordinary gamers, consider the second part to be the best in the series. Assassin's Creed II was balanced and honed to brilliance: there were interesting tasks, sane duration of the story campaign, a small leveling of the character and many other, worked out to the smallest detail, aspects of the gameplay, thanks to which the game did not bother from the beginning to the very end credits.

13

This epic RPG was criticized by many for straying as much as possible from the atmosphere and gameplay of the original two. However, at the same time, Fallout 3 had a lot of undeniable advantages. For example, there are many non-linear and truly memorable quests, a powerful prologue and a good role-playing system. Of course, the overall picture is spoiled by not the most successful storyline, as well as the annoying autoleveling of opponents - but you stop noticing these shortcomings when you completely and inseparably immerse yourself in adventures in dangerous radioactive wastelands.

12

A cool racing game, recognized by some foreign publications as one of the best racing games ever released. Forza Motorsport 3 sold an impressive number of copies, and the players liked it due to the addictive gameplay, high degree of realism, as well as a large number of settings that can be adjusted to suit your needs.

11

Adrenaline-filled third-person action game in which the player takes control of a cybernetically enhanced agent. The entire gameplay will take place in the open spaces of a futuristic metropolis open for exploration, under the control of several criminal gangs. The passage of the main missions in the game cannot be called boring, but still the most interesting activity in Crackdown was to rush through the city streets and destroy buildings to the ground.

10

An exclusive first-person shooter that is one of the best parts in the Halo series. The gameplay followed the traditions of the franchise and did not introduce anything innovative into the mechanics, except for new types of vehicles, weapons, and also some minor features. But the devoted fans of the series did not need anything else - they only needed another portion of the adventures of the gallant Master Chief, which, as usual, was seriously fascinating and polished to a shine.

9

A fast-paced and incredibly hardcore action game where players, as a sneaky photographer, have to rush through a huge supermarket teeming with carnivorous zombies. The game was limited in time: depending on the speed of the protagonist's actions, the player received one of many different endings at the end. And how not to mention the incredibly difficult bosses, psychopaths, each of whom was very charismatic and capable of sending the main character to the last save point a couple of dozen times.

8

A unique, stylish first-person shooter in which the player will explore a flooded city inhabited by hostile mutants and robots. Here - an extremely interesting plot with unexpected twists, beautiful graphics and design of the environment, as well as a rather original pumping of the main character. Perhaps the only drawback of the game is the low complexity of the passage, which may be very displeasing to hardcore gamers.

7

Skyrim is undeniably a great role-playing game for all time. It has already been released on almost all possible platforms, including the Xbox 360. Well, it turned out to be very convenient to dissect across vast areas of the open world and fight with enemies using a gamepad, and the console allows you to enjoy the beauty of local graphics without lags and brakes. The only frustrating thing is the inability to deliver amateur mods, which for many players are an integral part of TES V: Skyrim.

6

The fifth installment of the famous series has become one of the most popular and best-selling games worldwide. And it's all about a special online mode that allows users to customize their character and complete missions together with other players. But, apart from online, GTA V boasts a wonderful single-player campaign, in which you have to play for three completely different, but very colorful main characters.

5

Critics have called Portal 2 one of the greatest games of its time, perfectly combining great puzzles with a compelling story. Manipulations with environments and portals have become much more varied than in the first part. In addition, the sequel has a two-player campaign in split screen mode, where up to four teleports are allowed to be placed on a location at the same time!

4

The first part of the series introduced players to this large-scale fantasy universe. Mass Effect 2 offered players an addictive gameplay with improved aspects of the first game (for example, the inventory navigation menu was modified and the landing of the Mako armored vehicle on the planetary surface was worked out). In addition, in the second part, the world has become more open and rich in details, and the number of companions that you can take with you on a journey has increased significantly. Mass Effect 2 is considered by fans to be the best part in the series.

3

A series of exclusive console third-person shooters have always been famous for their brutality and furious gameplay. The second part contains the most diverse and interesting levels in the entire trilogy, as well as a lot of cinematic episodes. Here you have to wade through a city destroyed to the ground, shoot back at opponents on huge drilling machines and, in the end, find yourself in the stomach of a huge monster in order to destroy its heart and get out.

2

A console exclusive that remains largely faithful to the canons of Fable: The Lost Chapters. Unpretentious gameplay, straightforward role-playing system and low difficulty of passing make this RPG an ideal game for children and casual players. Unlike the third part, Fable 2 is at least interesting and pleasant to play. In addition, although there is a clumsy, but still a working mode for two players on one console.

1

A stunning open-world third-person shooter set in the Wild West. The game was developed by the company that created the legendary GTA series, so it is not surprising that Red Dead Redemption has turned out to be an incredibly high-quality project that has collected a huge number of prestigious awards, including the title of "Game of the Year" in the opinion of many foreign and domestic publications.

The Xbox 360 is arguably the best Microsoft console in the Xbox family, nearly beating its formidable Japanese rivals and causing an ongoing controversy - Great design and a solid set of quality games made the console a welcome purchase.

Despite the dramatically reduced number of game projects with exclusive status, the Xbox 360 still has titles that are not available on competitors' platforms, which is a great achievement for a non-Japanese console.

Top # 10 Best Xbox 360 Games

# 10 Fable 2

A project in the style of The Legend of Zelda from generous promises (and meager in implementation) game designer Peter Molyneux turned out to be almost as planned, namely, an excellent action-RPG, which sets it apart from the next part of the Fable series, number 3 and unintelligible spinoffs.

It turned out to be overly canonical and, perhaps, therefore, did not cause violent enthusiasm among fans of Hironobu Sakaguchi's work, but the project regularly delivers more than a dozen well-spent hours and therefore deserves the honorary right to open the rating of games for X Boxing 360.

# 8 Halo Wars

Unexpectedly, the real-time strategy game in the universe of the Halo series proved to be able to compete with such "monsters" of the genre as Starcraft and Dawn of War - the disadvantages can be attributed only to a short story campaign.

# 7 Dead or Alive 4

An eye-catching fighting game about brawler girls has not received a re-release on other platforms, which still haunts the fans of the series, who were not tempted, at one time, to buy an Xbox 360.

# 6 Lost Odyssey

Another very useful role-playing project in the JRPG genre from the "father". And the game would be at the top of my list of the best Xbox 360 games if Kaim Argonar was not an overly whiny character, and the battles were so drawn-out, but as they are.

# 5 Alan Wake

The first association that Western developers did by no means fully reflects the essence of the project. The story of the writer Alan Wake does not tear plot patterns, does not set new standards in the genre, but surely enters into, in the opinion of my beloved.

# 4 Forza Horizon

Who would have thought that the game would surely take the place of the Need for Speed \u200b\u200bseries on the throne of arcade racing ... but here on you. Best Forza on Xbox 360 IMHO.

# 3 Tales Of Vesperia

One of the best parts of the Tales Of series, to the surprise of many, received exclusive status for the Xbox 360. "Know-it-alls" may say that the expanded version, but it was a release exclusively for Japan, and for the rest of the world it is usually "deeply parallel".

The second part of Assassin's Creed fixed many of the mistakes of the first and became one of the most popular games of the publisher. The main character, the Italian assassin Ezio, travels between Florence, Venice and Forlì, along the way investigating the murders of his relatives.

The gameplay, tied to climbing buildings and stealthy murders, is addictive, and precisely recreated Italian cities of the Renaissance fascinate with their beauty.

Textures in GTA V on Xbox 360 are less crisp and effects less impressive than on more modern console versions. But this almost does not affect the sensations. Still, the main thing is fascinating missions and memorable characters, and with this, GTA V is all right.

It is one of the most recent blockbusters to hit the console and one of the most highly detailed games on it. You can study the map for hours and constantly find something new.

In Mass Effect 2, the player takes on the role of Commander Shepard, who must assemble a team of talented fighters to confront the alien threat. To do this, you will have to travel a lot across different star systems, save people and fight evil aliens.

And, perhaps, a couple of times to look into a nightclub, solve several personal problems of colleagues and enter into a romantic relationship with one of them. In short, the game has something to do. The main thing is not to forget that the universe is threatened with destruction.

Halo is a popular shooter series known for both epic single player campaigns and intense multiplayer matches. Halo 3's multiplayer servers currently have few players, but you can enjoy the story mode.

As the Master Chief's super soldier, the player must prevent the alien Covenant coalition from activating the Halo rings summoned. He has to travel through portals, rescue old friends and shoot a lot.

This is one of those games, after passing which you start to look at this art form differently. At its core, Portal 2 is simple: the heroine must solve riddles with the portal cannon in order to escape from a giant underground laboratory.

It is surprising how much the developers manage in 10 hours, which the story campaign lasts. Tell a fascinating story with funny characters and tense situations, teach the player "portal thinking", imagine a dozen different mechanics, without adding a single additional button to the control scheme.

This game is a masterpiece and must not be missed.

John Marston, the protagonist of Red Dead Redemption, has done a lot of dubious things in life. But such is his world - the Wild West does not forgive weakness. Despite the fact that John has long abandoned criminal activity and started a family, the sins of the past suddenly remind of themselves. The hero has to go on a journey across the frontier in search of his former accomplices.

As with many other Rockstar games, it's about freedom. A huge map is available to the player, along which you can freely move on horses, carriages and trains. There are also a bunch of weapons and options.

Modern Warfare is the first part of Call of Duty that doesn't take place during World War II. The player takes on the role of a special forces fighter, who, together with his team, must find out the plans of the terrorists and prevent them.

The game shows modern warfare from different angles: through the eyes of a shooter in a helicopter, a sniper behind enemy lines, a soldier in Central Asia. The campaign is full of memorable moments. That is just the observation of a nuclear explosion or a mission in the abandoned Pripyat.

Skyrim is one of the most popular games in history. The Elder Scrolls series has always had a special status in the gaming community, but the fifth part brought it to the next level. In today's world, Skyrim is almost synonymous with RPG's.

There are many reasons for this. Simplicity of gameplay, memorable quests, an epic plot that allows the player to decide the fate of not only the region, but the whole world. Although the main one is, of course, talking dragons.

Batman: Arkham City is a rare example of a really high quality superhero game. Stealthy attacks, investigation of crime scenes, tactical use of gadgets, long flights around the city at night: the action really makes you feel.

It also has a great storyline that includes most of the classic DC villains, and stars from the 90s animated series.

Dark Souls does not stand on ceremony with the player. From the first minutes she makes it clear: if you are not good enough, then you will not be able to complete the game. There will be no concessions. Therefore, as you progress, you have to improve your skills, learn to move correctly, block and parry blows.

As a reward, the player receives a sense of satisfaction after defeating the next boss and small pieces of lore, from which you can learn more about this doomed world.
