There are so many games on the Xbox 360 that it's impossible to please everyone. So don't be discouraged if you don't find your favorite game on our list.

alan wake

The game from Entertainment, which gave us Max Payne, is king-like frightening. This is the story of a writer who travels to the sleepy town of Bright Falls for inspiration and only finds nightmares there. To deal with them, he will have to enlist the support of the few remaining sane residents of the city, a powerful flashlight and a trusty shotgun. This is an adventure you won't soon forget...

dead space

AT dead space the player finds himself on a planet, overrun by creepy creatures known as Necromorphs. A team of engineers is sent to repair the USG Ishimura, a mining ship that has sent out a distress call. The player becomes Isaac Clarke, one of the engineers at CEC, a commercial organization that explores and mines deep space. The game was conceived as a psychological horror shooter and achieved this goal perfectly. It's one of those games where you know that if it gets too quiet, something terrible is about to happen. Moreover, monsters often suddenly jump out of the ventilation and scare to death. The game received rave reviews from critics for its story, beautiful level design, and incredible atmosphere.

Limbo

Service Xbox Live Arcade was born on the original Xbox, but it was with the Xbox 360 that it reached its peak, when indie developers really started to bring their games to market. Thanks to this service, a number of great games have seen the light of day. Limbo was a 2D puzzle platform game from independent developer Playdead. It was their first game, and it was very interesting: the story of a boy who was looking for his missing sister, avoiding traps and enemies who constantly tried to kill him. The game was praised for its interesting, easy controls and frightening death scenes.

Far Cry 3

Far Cry 3 gives the player the opportunity to explore an open tropical world with fast-paced gunplay and RPG elements such as skill trees and systems. The story tells about the kidnapping of the main character, Jason Brody, by a group led by one of the main characters, Vaas. The game has received a lot of good reviews for its long and interesting story missions, impressive shooting patterns, and a huge game for the player to explore.

Braid

Braid originally came out on Xbox Live Arcade. Some features distinguish the game from others with puzzles, such as the ability to control time, which varies depending on the level, or exclusively misterious story. All we know is that our hero's name is Tim, he saves the princess from a "monster" and made a "big mistake". The game was praised for its elaborate puzzles, beautiful scenery, and striking music.

Forza Motorsport 3

Since the Xbox 360's existence, a huge number of races have been released on it, so it was quite difficult to choose a game for our list. We stopped at Forza Motorsport 3. It had over four hundred customizable cars and over a hundred tracks. New elements have been added to the game, such as driving assistance and the ability to turn on the first-person view so that you can really feel in the driver's seat. It was critically acclaimed and won nine awards, including "Best" at the 2009 Spike Video Game Awards.

forza horizon

If Forza Motorsport is about serious racing on licensed tracks, where skill and a properly tuned car matter, then Forza Horizon offers a completely different experience: the developers have created a festival that never stops. There are many competitions here, during which you will drive on the roads (in the sequel - Europe) and complete various goals in order to become the champion of Horizon in the final. Speed, freedom and holiday atmosphere are the main components of a good arcade race.

Fallout 3

Games have always been niche. They weren't as popular as other genres, mainly because the developers couldn't make them right. However, this does not apply, and its third part transferred the once series to a fully three-dimensional space. The game takes place in post-apocalyptic Washington, DC, and the player controls a self-created character who, after the sudden disappearance of his father, was forced to leave his native walls and go in search. However, you can push the story into the background and explore an open world filled with tasks, interesting places, " easter eggs and facts about the gaming universe.

Halo 3

Who hasn't heard of Halo 3 or its predecessors at least once? Upon release, the game was very popular and had many interesting features both in the solo campaign and in local or online battles with friends. The campaign was short, but the game focused primarily on multiplayer, supporting up to four players on a single console and up to sixteen. The game was praised a lot for the story, new equipment and cars, and of course the multiplayer mode.

Gears of War 3

Gears of War 3 had new elements that set it apart from previous installments. After the events of the second game, humanity was on the verge of extinction. Co-op is supported, up to four players online and up to two in split-screen mode on the same console. There is also a new Beast Mode where the player controls a monster that fights COG soldiers and gets bigger and more dangerous. The game received good feedback for voice acting, graphics, and music, and sold over three million copies in its first week of release.

fable II

Fable II gives players something that few studios can bring to life - a sense of unlimited freedom. In this game, you can do whatever you want (except saving the world, of course): start a family, fish, explore locations with a faithful, get a job, buy a couple of houses - in general, almost live in the game world . And do not forget about the consequences of your actions: the appearance of your character and the attitude of NPCs towards him will change depending on good or evil deeds. You don't want your hero to grow huge horns, do you?

Batman Arkham City

Pro games are usually either very good or very bad, especially when it comes to the DC Comics universe, however, the Arkham series was just great. In Batman: Arkham City, the developers, Rocksteady Studios, decided to take everything we loved so much about their previous pro game and bring their own new ideas. One of these changes was the setting: you were no longer tied to the little one and got the opportunity to go to a part of Gotham (Gotham City), turned by Hugo Strange into a prison for dangerous criminals. Naturally, you control the Dark Knight himself, hovering over the streets, keeping an eye on the villains and performing dangerous tasks.

Portal 2

The first part of Portal was very successful and the public didn't want the series to end. listened to the wishes of the fans and released the second part of Portal, which was just as good as the first, and maybe even better thanks to the introduction of multiplayer and several intriguing characters. In the single-player campaign, the player controls Chell, the protagonist of the first game, who was recaptured and placed in stasis for several years until rescued by a robot named Wheatley. The multiplayer game takes place after the events of the campaign. You control Atlas and P-Body, two robots who must overcome a series of puzzles together. The game deserved positive reviews good humor, voice acting and puzzles, the basis of the gameplay mechanics.

Red Dead Redemption

Did you want to be a cowboy as a child? If yes, then Red Dead Redemption is your game. Become John Marston, an ex-con who is determined to find his family and live his life, even if it means revenge on old friends. In addition to the main story, the game has a lot of random skirmishes and side quests. Here you can rob cows, steal, steal wagons, hunt, gamble and participate in good old duels. The game received a huge amount of praise for the atmosphere, music and voice acting.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is an open-world fantasy RPG filled with a wide variety of inhabitants: from skeletons to trolls, giants and even . The game had a huge world open to explore, with many secrets, random encounters, side quests, and guild quests. All this was framed by beautiful landscapes and magic. You don't have to complete the campaign to enjoy the game. As already mentioned, there is always something to do here, not to mention DLC with additional content. The game was loved for its design, graphics and soundtrack with a melody sunk into the hearts of many gamers main theme.

Mass Effect 2

Following the events of the first game, Captain Shepard finds himself stranded in space after an enemy ship destroys the Normandy. He is rescued by an organization known as "Cerberus". The game has a more developed morale system with more "good" and "evil" options to choose from that affect the ending, excellent selection of characters and missions that reveal the history of some of them. Rave reviews are deserved by the voice acting, design, various characters and plot.

The Orange Box

The Orange Box is a five-game pack that included DLC-packed Half-Life games, Portal, and Team Fortress 2. The box of five well-received titles was destined for and received accolades. Many have even argued that this is a great example of what game collections should be. By the end of November 2008, about three million copies had been sold, which shows how much gamers love Valve products.

Grand Theft Auto 5

Yes, you knew she would be here! always stays on top, constantly improving quality, so the presence of Grand Theft Auto V on this list is completely unsurprising. The game has remained true to its open world full of violence, but now you can steal even more cars and annoy pedestrians with them. In addition, multiplayer has been improved, new clothes, items, and several mini-games have been added to keep players entertained.

The plot of the game is built around three main characters - Michael, Trevor and Franklin. Each of them is a unique personality with their own story missions. The multiplayer mode is still popular today. The game received rave reviews for its gameplay, multi-character playability, open world, and presentation. It became the fastest-selling entertainment product, with sales of around $800 million on the day it was released, and in three days the $1 billion mark was broken!

Now that the Xbox One is gaining momentum, it would be nice to remember what games we bought the Xbox 360 for, one of the best consoles in the history of the industry. Of course we will talk exclusively about exclusive projects that, except on the Microsoft console, you will not see anywhere else. It seems that this material will be useful not only to those who just want to remember the past, but also to those who suddenly missed one (or a couple of) of these games.

Recall what is remarkable about the game Xbox system 360. Most importantly, it was a serious competitor to the PlayStation 3. The American set-top box was bought about as willingly as the Japanese one. As a result, approximately 80 million Xbox 360s were sold. The PS3 sold approximately the same number of copies. Recall that in the days of PS2 and Xbox, such results could not even be conceived. Then, Sony managed to sell more than 150 million copies of its device, and Microsoft only 25 million.

Xbox 360 Exclusives

Some of the main reasons why the Xbox 360 has been so popular are the ease of use of online features and the abundance of amazing games. Let's try to figure out why we bought prefix Microsoft. Well, for what it can be bought today.

Viva Pinata (and Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise)

A fantastic and original farming simulator from the talented studio Rare was released in 2006. But the real masterpiece was the sequel, which appeared two years later, in 2008.

The colorful Trouble in Paradise has remained just as beautiful, just as atmospheric, but at the same time much deeper and more diverse. One of those cases where the depth of the gameplay is combined with apparent simplicity.

Dance Central (all three parts)

All three parts of Dance Central by Harmonix Music Systems are fun games worth checking out. Especially if you have purchased Kinect. Nothing more worthy was released on the Xbox 360 for this device. The creators of Guitar Hero and Rock Band have gone all out and created a game that's fun to play with friends, perfect party fun.

Well, another reason to lose a couple of hundred calories.

An open world, superheroes, a lot of opportunities, all this in a unique Crackdown project. A game that is completely different from GTA. Players could run through skyscrapers, fly, jump like the Hulk, fight like Hercules. Omnipotent characters and a unique cell-shaded style ("drawn polygons") made Crackdown one of the most popular games in the genre. You should pay attention to both the original and Crackdown 2.

Alas, we did not wait for the third part.

saints row

It was then that Saints Row turned into a delusional comedy story about superheroes, zombies and aliens. The original game, released exclusively for the Xbox 360, was a beautiful and fascinating story about the career growth of a criminal within a gang. Yes, the game was reminiscent of Grand Theft Auto, but at the same time, it had exceptional taste and a unique style.

I like Saints Row 2, 3 and 4. But, I confess, Saints Row is much closer to me. It was she who remained in the memory as the best game in the series.

Shadow Complex

Chair's first XBLA game is still hailed as the best arcade game on the Xbox 360. It's basically a modern Metroid with polished gameplay and nice 2.5D graphics.

It would seem that a rather primitive gameplay was combined here with a perfect balance and incredible addictiveness. It was not easy to break away from Shadow Complex.

Fable 2 (and Fable 3)

After the success of the original Fable, Lionhead immediately set to work on the sequel, this time for the Xbox 360. Many call Fable 2 the best game in the series. A unique world, an abundance of opportunities (same-sex marriages, children, a developed economic model, buying real estate, a job system), coupled with a good combat system, gave rise to a truly unique universe, which I wanted to return to over and over again.

Finally, co-op has arrived in Fable 2. The ideas of the game were continued in Fable 3, but it was already somewhat cooler. However, both Fable 2 and Fable 3 deserve to be on the list. best games on Xbox 360. Like…

Fable: Anniversary

A remake of the original Fable was released on the Xbox 360 called Fable: Anniversary. A new engine, beautiful graphics, but the same atmosphere of a chamber fairy tale. Yes, released this year (2014), Anniversary lacks the abundance of features and scale of the next parts.

However, it may very well become a favorite part of the series today. All because of the unique spirit of the game. Unfortunately, it was not completely possible to transfer it to Fable 2 and Fable 3.

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings

Assassins of Kings, as you know, came out of consoles only on the Xbox 360. Where it immediately became one of the best role-playing games in general. Interesting story, the incredible charisma of the protagonist, bright secondary characters and an atmosphere that is not found in any other game.

The virtual "Witcher" deserves to be on a par with the book, no doubt.

Lost Odyssey

Hironobu Sakaguchi, the creator of the Final Fantasy series, and his Lost Odyssey project, released exclusively for the American Xbox 360 console. Tell this to someone at the beginning of the millennium, you would hardly be believed. But everything is changing.

And, behold, the true Final Fantasy (in spirit) comes out in an exclusive version for the Xbox 360 in 2007. Indeed, Lost Odyssey is much closer to Final Fantasy than Final Fantasy XIII itself. Great story, great characters beautiful world and, as a bonus, one of the best soundtracks in video game history. By the way, from another Final Fantasy master, Nobuo Uematsu.

blue dragon

Even before Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon was released on the Xbox 360, an RPG with a lighter feel and a more childish feel. The team is the same. From celebrities, Hironobu Sakaguchi and Nobuo Uematsu. Although, no, I'm lying, Akira Toriyama, the legendary character designer of Dragon Quest, had a hand in the game.

And that's what Blue Dragon looks like the most. It is highly recommended even today.

You should know that onLostOdyssey andBlueDragon talented teamMistwalker wasn't about to stop. In development forThe Xbox 360 also housed the gameCryOn, destined to become the most grandioseJRPG in console history. Alas, the project was cancelled.

Infinite Undiscovery

However, JRPG games on the Xbox 360 are not limited to the creations of Mistwalker. Another prime example is Infinite Undiscovery. The game was created by tri-Ace (the studio responsible for the Star Ocean and Valkyrie Profile series) and published by Square Enix itself.

Nice graphics, interesting characters and a fascinating story combined with a very unusual world and well thought out combat system. Must-Have for JRPG lovers.

The Last Remnant

Not exactly an Xbox 360 exclusive, The Last Remnant is also available on PC (but not on PS3). This JRPG project, underestimated by many, seems to us worthy of the closest attention.

One of the most interesting combat systems in the genre was combined here with an adult story and an unusual setting. However, yes, there were shortcomings: mostly of a technical nature.

Halo Series

Without a doubt, the Xbox 360 was the heyday of the Halo series. On the console came out:

  • Halo 3(2007): One of the best co-op games ever. In addition, not devoid of a unique atmosphere. Today, the graphics don't seem so impressive anymore, but the gameplay is still incredibly fun.
  • Halo 3: ODST(2009): A more chamber story, but much more personal and sincere.
  • Halo: Reach(2010): But from a dramatic point of view, it is Reach that is considered the most powerful. To understand why this is so, you should play it.
  • Halo Wars(2009): Want an RTS set in the Halo universe? Well, here it is, the real strategy, in front of you.
  • Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary(2011): Probably one of the best remakes in gaming history. The developers did not reinvent the wheel and change the gameplay. But they approached the work with full responsibility: they completely changed the visual component and finalized the original where it was required.
  • Halo 4(2012): Despite the fact that completely different people worked on Halo 4, it is considered by many to be the best part of the series. This applies to both graphics and the way the story is presented. And the story itself, in general, too. Do we agree that Halo 4 is better than Halo 3 and Reach? Of course no. But there is no doubt that she can stand with them in the same row! Yes, Halo 4 is probably one of the most beautiful games on the Xbox 360.

Without Halo game industry would never have been the way we know it.

We look forward to continuing!

Gears of War series

Gears of War debuted on the Xbox 360 in 2006 and quickly became an instant hit, becoming the first game in a long-running series of massive third-person action games:

  • Gears of War(2006): At that time, such games were new. View from behind the shoulder (very convenient for combat operations), stunning graphics, interesting world and, most importantly, vivid characters. Gears of War fell in love immediately.
  • Gears of War 2(2008): But, in my opinion, the best game in the series was Gears of War 2. The developers have not only outdone themselves by making the game incredibly diverse and, finally, bright. The main thing in Gears of War 2 is how realistic the tragedies of people participating in the war are shown here. Such penetrating scenes as in Gears of War 2 were not even in Metal Gear Solid.
  • Gears of War 3(2011): Alas, Gears of War 3 turned out to be weaker than the second part. Moreover, not only in the script, but also directly in the gameplay. However, this is one of the best sci-fi action games on the Xbox 360.
  • Gears of War: Judgment(2013): The main (alas, and only) exclusive project for the console in 2013. Another worthy continuation of the series and, of course, one of the best cooperative games for Xbox 360.

Will Gears of War continue?

The question is open.

Alan Wake (and Alan Wake: American's Nightmare)

Without a doubt, Alan Wake has become one of the most interesting and atmospheric games for the Xbox 360. The talented developers from the Remedy studio were able to create a kind of "American" version Silent Hill with an appropriate plot and crazy world.

American's Nightmare didn't disappoint either. But we are still waiting for Alan Wake 2. Will we wait, the question is still open.

Forza Motorsport Series

It was on the Xbox 360 that Forza Motorsport was able to become the very series that became the main competitor of Gran Turismo.

Frankly, Forza is much closer to me. Firstly, it is brighter, and secondly, more dynamic.

  • Forza Motorsport 2(2007): The logical continuation of the series, the transition from Xbox to Xbox 360.
  • Forza Motorsport 3(2009): And the third part has already received many awards and was recognized as one of the best races of the generation.
  • Forza Motorsport 4(2011): Even more advanced than the third, Forza 4 has become a real "Hollywood blockbuster" from the world of virtual racing. With his star, Jeremy Clarkson of Top Gear.
  • Forza Horizon(2012): More of an arcade variant, more reminiscent of Test Drive Unlimited and Need for Speed. At the same time, in my niche, there is nothing better, as it seems to me. Until the release of Forza Horizon 2 on Xbox One, of course.

What else to play on the Xbox 360?

The most significant exclusive projects (of course, in our opinion, you may think otherwise) for the Xbox 360 are described above. However, of course, this is not all. By the way, if you have not yet purchased an Xbox 360, then you can do this in GameStore, an online gaming store. These exclusives should also be played without fail:

  • Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts(2008): Project Rare, an incredibly diverse game. Besides, she's very cute.
  • Bullet Witch(2006): Dynamic battles, bright special effects, well-thought-out combat system and, alas, boring locations.
  • Dead or Alive 4(2005): The fourth installment was released exclusively on the Xbox 360.
  • Dead or Alive Xtreme 2(2006): The latest Xtreme series for those who like to watch half-naked young ladies.
  • Kameo: Elements of Power(2005): This arcade game, which still looks and plays on 5+, came out with the Xbox 360.
  • Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom(2007): Action RPG, which is loved by the players and for some reason perceived with hostility by journalists.
  • Ninety Nine Nights(1 & 2, 2006 & 2010): Again, highly unusual hack-and-slash RPGs that have been loved by many gamers and disliked by most critics.
  • Perfect Dark Zero(2005): One of the games that came out with the Xbox 360. At that time, the undisputed masterpiece. Now, quite a good original action movie from the first person.
  • Project Gotham Racing(3 and 4, 2005 and 2007): If Forza didn't exist, both of these games would be on the main list. And yes, you can check it out. But Forza Horizon is still much better.
  • Prey(2006): Long-term Prey never made it to PS3. The game can be evaluated on PC and Xbox 360. Today, of course, it no longer looks so chic. However, the gameplay is not outdated at all.
  • Risen(2009): Gothic fans will love it. The rest will probably pass (or have already passed) by. I admit, Risen is better to play on PC. The port on the Xbox 360 was not very successful from a technical point of view.
  • too human(2008): Action/RPG in a world where science and mythology (Northern) are combined, offer a unique style and an unusual plot. However, she is scolded for her monotony and not very convenient control. In any case, I would recommend not to jump to conclusions and try the game yourself.

20

A reference first-person shooter that offers players an engaging story-driven campaign filled with whirlwind missions and cinematic action scenes. To this day, the subsequent installments of the Call of Duty series have never been able to surpass the quality of performance and fascination of Modern Warfare, which has become firmly established in the minds of most gamers as one of the best shooters of all time.

19 Blur

One of the best split screen racing games ever made. Fast races along well-developed city tracks, where various bonuses are scattered everywhere that can turn the tide of the race at any moment. Unfortunately, split-screen arcade racing games have become a rare commodity in the industry these days - and that's another reason to get a Blur disc and play it with two or three friends.

18

Magnificent survival horror from the third person, where main character explores the dark corridors of a space station infested with bloodthirsty monsters. Dead Space is often mentioned in the tops of the best horror games - and for good reason, because the game is really capable of scaring an unprepared user to shivers in the knees. All three parts of the series were performed at the same high level, so the first one can be distinguished from them as the initiator of this excellent horror franchise.

17 Viva Piñata

A colorful simulator for breeding and caring for funny creatures stuffed with sweets from the inside. Viva Piñata has received favorable reviews from both the press and casual gamers. Everyone, without exception, praised the excellent graphics and addictive gameplay, but noted the slightly awkward interface, which, in principle, you can get used to. At one time, the game was an almost mandatory purchase for owners of the Xbox 360, as one of the main exclusives.

16

A unique game that gives users the opportunity to get used to the role of a real American detective of the 40s and 50s. Players have to travel around the city by car and investigate intricate crimes related to serial murders, car theft, drug overdose, arson, explosions, etc. By the way, the developers have implemented amazing animation of the faces and movements of the characters in the game to make it easier to determine when a suspect or a witness is lying, and when he is telling the truth.

15 Batman: Arkham City

One of the best comic book video games ever made. Batman finds himself trapped in his hometown of Gotham, overrun by crazed prisoners and bandits. Players will not only have to deal with a hundred or two criminals with the help of fists and branded gadgets, but also conduct real detective investigations and solve puzzles. In addition, as you progress through Batman will encounter various supervillain bosses that are very familiar to many players: the Joker, the Penguin, Ra's al Ghul, Mr. Freeze, the Joker and many others.

14

Fans of the franchise, and many ordinary gamers, consider the second part to be the best in the series. Assassin's Creed II was balanced and polished to perfection: there were interesting tasks, a sane duration of the story campaign, a small leveling of the character, and many other aspects of the gameplay worked out to the smallest detail, thanks to which the game did not get bored from the beginning to the very final credits.

13

This epic role-playing game was criticized by many for being as far removed from the atmosphere and gameplay of the original two parts. However, at the same time, Fallout 3 had a lot of undeniable advantages. For example, there are many non-linear and really memorable quests, a powerful prologue and a good role-playing system. Of course, the overall picture is spoiled by not the most successful storyline, as well as annoying auto-leveling of opponents - but you stop noticing these shortcomings when you are completely and inextricably immersed in adventures in dangerous radioactive wastelands.

12

A cool racing game, recognized by some foreign publications as one of the best racing games ever released. Forza Motorsport 3 was a huge seller, and gamers loved it for its addictive gameplay, high degree of realism, and plenty of customization options to suit your needs.

11

Adrenaline third-person action game in which the player takes control of a cybernetically enhanced agent. The entire gameplay will take place in the open spaces of the futuristic metropolis, which is under the control of several criminal gangs. The main missions in the game are not boring, but the most interesting thing in Crackdown was rushing through the city streets and destroying buildings to the ground.

10

An exclusive first-person shooter that is one of the best installments in the Halo series. The gameplay followed the traditions of the franchise and did not bring anything innovative to the mechanics, except for new types of vehicles, weapons, and some minor features. But loyal fans of the series didn’t need anything else - they just needed another portion of the adventures of the brave Master Chief, which, as usual, was seriously fascinating and polished to a shine.

9

A fast-paced and incredibly hardcore action game where players take on the role of a sly photographer who has to rush through a huge supermarket teeming with carnivorous zombies. The game was limited in time: depending on the speed of the protagonist's actions, the player received one of many different endings at the end. And how not to mention the incredibly difficult psychopathic bosses, each of which was very charismatic and capable of sending the main character a couple of dozen times to the last save point.

8

A unique, stylish first-person shooter in which the player has to explore a flooded city inhabited by hostile mutants and robots. Here - an extremely interesting plot with unexpected twists, beautiful graphics and design of the environment, as well as a rather original pumping of the main character. Perhaps the only drawback of the game is the low difficulty of passing, which may not please hardcore gamers very much.

7

Skyrim is undeniably a great role-playing game that is relevant for all time. It has already been released on almost all possible platforms, including the Xbox 360. Well, it turned out to be very convenient to cut through the vast territories of the open world and fight enemies with the help of a gamepad, and the console allows you to enjoy the beauties of local graphics without lags and braking. The only thing that is frustrating is the inability to install amateur mods, which for many players are an integral part of TES V: Skyrim.

6

The fifth part of the famous series has become one of the most popular and best-selling games in the world. And it's all about a special online mode that allows users to customize their character and complete missions together with other players. But, besides online, GTA V boasts a wonderful single-player campaign, in which you have to play for three completely different, but very colorful main characters.

5

Critics called Portal 2 one of the greatest games of its time, perfectly combining excellent puzzles and an engaging story. Manipulations with the environment and portals have become much more diverse than in the first part. In addition, the sequel has a two-player split-screen campaign, where up to four teleporters can be placed on the location at the same time!

4

The first part of the series introduced players to this massive fantasy universe. Mass Effect 2 offered players addictive gameplay with improved aspects of the first game (for example, the inventory navigation menu was modified and landings of the Mako armored vehicle on the surface of the planets were worked out). In addition, in the second part, the world has become more open and rich in details, and the number of companions that you can take with you on a trip has increased significantly. Mass Effect 2 is considered by fans to be the best installment in the series.

3

A series of exclusive console third-person shooters has always been famous for its brutality and furious gameplay. The second part has the most varied and interesting levels in the entire trilogy, as well as a lot of cinematic episodes. Here you have to make your way through the city completely destroyed, shoot back from opponents on huge drilling machines and, in the end, end up in the stomach of a huge monster in order to destroy its heart and get out.

2

Exclusive to the console, in many respects remained true to the canons of Fable: The Lost Chapters. Simple gameplay, uncomplicated role-playing system and low difficulty make this RPG an ideal game for children and casual players. Unlike the third part, Fable 2 is at least interesting and enjoyable to play. In addition, there is a clumsy, but still working mode for two players on one console.

1

An amazing open-world third-person shooter set in the Wild West. The game was developed by the company that created the legendary GTA series, so it is not surprising that Red Dead Redemption turned out to be an incredibly high-quality project that has collected a huge number of prestigious awards, including the title of "Game of the Year" according to many foreign and domestic publications.

Xbox 360 is perhaps the best Microsoft console in the world. Xbox family, which almost managed to defeat the formidable Japanese competitors and became the cause of the ongoing controversy to this day - Excellent design and a solid set of quality games made the console a desirable acquisition.

Despite a sharp decrease in the number game projects having the status of an exclusive, on the Xbox 360 there are still titles that are not available on the platforms of competitors, which I consider a great achievement for a non-Japanese console.

Top #10 Best Xbox 360 Games

#10 Fable 2

The Legend of Zelda-style project from generous (and poor in implementation) game designer Peter Molyneux turned out to be almost as planned, namely, an excellent action-RPG, which distinguishes it from the background of the next part of the Fable series, number 3 and obscure spinoffs.

It turned out to be too canonical and, perhaps for this reason, did not arouse great enthusiasm among fans of Hironobu Sakaguchi's work, but the project delivers more than a dozen well-spent hours and therefore deserves the honorable right to open the xbox 360 game rating.

#8 Halo Wars

Unexpectedly, the real-time strategy in the universe of the series Halo was able to compete with such "monsters" of the genre as Starcraft and Dawn of War - only a short story campaign can be attributed to the minuses.

#7 Dead or Alive 4

The eye-catching fighting game about fighter girls has not been re-released on other platforms so much that it still haunts fans of the series who were not tempted, at one time, to buy an Xbox 360.

#6 Lost Odyssey

Another very suitable role-playing project in the JRPG genre from the "father". And the game would have been at the top of my list of the best Xbox 360 games if Caim Argonar were not an unnecessarily whiny character, and the battles are so drawn out, but as they are.

#5 Alan Wake

The first association that Western developers have made does not fully reflect the essence of the project. The story of the writer Alan Wake does not break plot patterns, does not set new standards in the genre, but confidently enters into the opinion of my beloved.

#4 Forza Horizon

Who would have thought that the game would surely take the place of the Need for Speed series on the throne of arcade racing ... but on you. The best Forza on the Xbox 360 console, IMHO.

#3 Tales Of Vesperia

One of the best parts of the Tales Of series, to the surprise of many, received the status of an exclusive for the Xbox 360. Know-it-alls may say that the enhanced version, but it was a release exclusively for Japan, and for the rest of the world it is usually “deeply parallel”.

The second part of Assassin's Creed corrected many of the mistakes of the first and became one of the most popular games of the publisher. The protagonist, the Italian assassin Ezio, travels between Florence, Venice and Forli, investigating the murders of his relatives along the way.

Building-climbing and stealth-killing gameplay is addictive, and faithfully recreated Italian cities Renaissance eras fascinate with their beauty.

The textures in GTA V on the Xbox 360 are less crisp and the effects are less impressive than in versions for more modern consoles. But it almost does not affect the sensations. Still, the main thing is exciting missions and memorable characters, and GTA V is all right with this.

This is one of the latest blockbusters to hit the console and one of the most detailed games on it. You can study the map for hours and constantly find something new.

In Mass Effect 2, the player takes on the role of Commander Shepard, who must assemble a team of talented fighters to counter an alien threat. To do this, you will have to travel a lot across different star systems, save people and fight evil aliens.

And also, perhaps, a couple of times to look into a nightclub, solve a few personal problems of colleagues and enter into a romantic relationship with one of them. In a word, there is something to do in the game. The main thing - do not forget that the universe is threatened with destruction.

Halo is a popular shooter series known for both epic single-player campaigns and intense multiplayer matches. Now there are not enough players on Halo 3 multiplayer servers, but you can enjoy the story mode.

This is one of those games, after passing which you begin to look at this type of art in a different way. At its core, Portal 2 is simple: the heroine must solve riddles with the help of a portal gun in order to escape from a giant underground laboratory.

It is surprising how much the developers manage to do in 10 hours, which lasts for the story campaign. Tell a fascinating story with funny characters and tense situations, teach the player about “portal thinking”, introduce dozens of different mechanics without adding a single extra button to the control scheme.

This game is a masterpiece and not to be missed.

John Marston, the protagonist of Red Dead Redemption, has done many questionable things in his life. But such is his world - the Wild West does not forgive weakness. Despite the fact that John has long left criminal activity and started a family, the sins of the past suddenly remind of themselves. The hero has to travel across the frontier in search of his former accomplices.

As with many other Rockstar games, the main thing is the feeling of freedom. The player has access to a huge map, on which you can freely move on a horse, carriages and trains. There are also a bunch of weapons and options.

Modern Warfare is the first Call of Duty game not set during World War II. The player takes on the role of a special forces soldier who, together with his team, must find out the plans of the terrorists and prevent them.

The game shows the modern war from different angles: through the eyes of a shooter in a helicopter, a sniper behind enemy lines, a soldier in Central Asia. The campaign is full of moments that stick in the memory. What is worth just watching a nuclear explosion or a mission in an abandoned Pripyat.

Skyrim is one of the most popular games in history. The Elder Scrolls series has always had a special status in the gaming community, but the fifth part took it to a new level. AT modern world Skyrim is practically synonymous with RPG's.

There are many reasons for this. Simplicity of gameplay, memorable quests, an epic storyline that allows the player to decide the fate of not only the region, but the whole world. Although the main one is, of course, talking dragons.

Batman: Arkham City is a rare example of a really high quality superhero game. Stealth attacks, crime scene investigations, tactical use of gadgets, long flights through the city at night: the action really makes you feel like .

And also here great plot, which includes most of the classic DC villains, and actors from the animated series of the nineties in the lead roles.

Dark Souls does not stand on ceremony with the player. From the first minutes, she makes it clear: if you are not good enough, then you will not be able to complete the game. There will be no favors. Therefore, as you progress, you have to improve your skills, learn how to move correctly, block and parry blows.

As a reward, the player receives a sense of satisfaction after defeating the next boss and small pieces of lore from which you can learn more about this doomed world.
