The Otherworld is a very interesting topic that everyone thinks about at least once in their life. What happens to a person and his soul after death? Can he watch living people? These and many questions cannot but worry. The most interesting thing is that there are many different theories about what happens to a person after death. Let's try to understand them and answer the questions of concern to many people.

"Your body will die, but your soul will live forever"

These are the words that Bishop Theophan the Recluse addressed in his letter to his dying sister. He, like other Orthodox priests, believed that only the body dies, but the soul lives forever. What is the reason for this and how does religion explain it?

The Orthodox teaching on life after death is too large and voluminous, therefore we will consider only some of its aspects. First of all, in order to understand what happens to a person and his soul after death, it is necessary to find out what is the purpose of all life on earth. In the Epistle to the Hebrews of the Holy Apostle Paul there is a mention that every person must die sometime, and after that there will be a judgment. This is exactly what Jesus Christ did when he voluntarily surrendered himself to his enemies to death. Thus, he washed away the sins of many sinners and showed that the righteous, just like him, will one day await resurrection. Orthodoxy believes that if life were not eternal, then it would have no meaning. Then people would really live, not knowing why they will die sooner or later, there would be no point in doing good deeds. That is why the human soul is immortal. Jesus Christ opened the gates of the Heavenly Kingdom for the Orthodox and believers, and death is only the completion of preparation for a new life.

What is soul

The human soul continues to live after death. She is the spiritual principle of man. The mention of this can be found in Genesis (chapter 2), and it sounds something like this: “God created man from earthly dust and blew into his face with the breath of life. Now man has become a living soul. " Scripture "tells" us that man is two-part. If the body can die, then the soul lives forever. She is a living entity, endowed with the ability to think, remember, feel. In other words, the soul of a person continues to live after death. She understands everything, feels and - most importantly - remembers.

Spiritual vision

In order to make sure that the soul is really capable of feeling and understanding, it is only necessary to remember the cases when the human body died for a while, and the soul saw and understood everything. Similar stories can be read in a variety of sources, for example, K. Ikskul in his book "Incredible for many, but a true incident" describes what happens after death with a person and his soul. Everything that is written in the book is the personal experience of the author, who fell ill with a serious illness and experienced clinical death. Almost everything that can be read on this topic in various sources is very similar to each other.

People who have experienced clinical death characterize it in a white enveloping fog. Below you can see the body of the person himself, next to him are his relatives and doctors. It is interesting that the soul, separated from the body, can move in space and understand everything. Some argue that after the body stops showing any signs of life, the soul passes through a long tunnel, at the end of which a bright white color burns. Then, as a rule, for some time, the soul returns to the body again, and the heart begins to beat. What if a person dies? What happens to him then? What does a person's soul do after death?

Meeting with their own kind

After the soul is separated from the body, it can see spirits, both good and bad. It is interesting that, as a rule, she is attracted to her own kind, and if during her lifetime any of the forces had an influence on her, then after death she will be attached to her. This period of time, when the soul chooses "company" for itself, is called the Private Court. It is then that it becomes completely clear whether this person's life was in vain. If he fulfilled all the commandments, was kind and generous, then, undoubtedly, the same souls will be next to him - kind and pure. The opposite situation is characterized by a society of fallen spirits. Eternal torment and suffering in hell awaits them.

The first few days

It is interesting what happens after death to the soul of a person in the first few days, because this period is for her a time of freedom and enjoyment. It is during the first three days that the soul can freely move around the earth. As a rule, she is at this time near her relatives. She even tries to talk to them, but it turns out with difficulty, because a person is not able to see and hear spirits. In rare cases, when the connection between people and the dead is very strong, they feel the presence of a soul mate nearby, but cannot explain it. For this reason, the burial of a Christian takes place exactly 3 days after death. In addition, it is this period that the soul needs in order to realize where it is now. It is not easy for her, she may not have had time to say goodbye to anyone or say anything to someone. Most often, a person is not ready for death, and these three days are needed for him to understand the essence of what is happening and say goodbye.

However, there are exceptions to every rule. For example, K. Ikskul began his journey to another world on the first day, because the Lord had told him so. Most of the saints and martyrs were ready for death, and in order to go to another world, it took them only a few hours, because this was their main goal. Each case is completely different, and the information comes only from those people who have experienced the "posthumous experience" on themselves. If we are not talking about clinical death, then everything can be completely different here. The proof that in the first three days the soul of a person is on earth is the fact that it is during this period of time that the relatives and friends of the deceased feel their presence nearby.

Next stage

The next stage of the transition to the afterlife is very difficult and dangerous. On the third or fourth day, the soul is expected to be tested - ordeals. There are about twenty of them, and all of them must be overcome so that the soul can continue on its way. Ordeals are the whole pandemonium of evil spirits. They block the path and accuse her of sins. The Bible also describes these trials. Jesus' mother - the Most Pure and Reverend Mary, - having learned about the imminent death from the Archangel Gabriel, asked her son to deliver her from demons and ordeals. In response to her requests, Jesus said that after death he would take her to Heaven by the hand. And so it happened. This action can be seen on the icon "The Dormition of the Theotokos". On the third day, it is customary to pray fervently for the soul of the deceased, in this way you can help her go through all the trials.

What happens a month after death

After the soul has passed the ordeal, it worships God and goes on a journey again. This time, hellish abysses and heavenly abodes await her. She watches how sinners are tormented and how the righteous rejoice, but she does not yet have her own place. On the fortieth day, the soul is assigned a place where it, like everyone else, will wait for the High Court. There is also information that only until the ninth day the soul sees the heavenly abodes and observes the righteous souls who live in happiness and joy. The rest of the time (about a month) she has to look at the torment of sinners in hell. At this time, the soul cries, grieves and humbly awaits its fate. On the fortieth day, the soul is assigned a place where it will wait for the resurrection of all the dead.

Who and where goes

Of course, only the Lord God is omnipresent and knows exactly where the soul goes after the death of a person. Sinners go to hell and spend time there in anticipation of even greater torment that will come after the High Judgment. Sometimes such souls can come in dreams to friends and relatives, asking for help. You can help in such a situation by praying for a sinful soul and asking the Almighty for forgiveness of her sins. There are cases when sincere prayer for a deceased person really helped him move to a better world. So, for example, in the 3rd century the martyr Perpetua saw that the fate of her brother was like a filled reservoir, which was located too high for him to reach. Day and night, she prayed for his soul and over time she saw how he touched the reservoir and was transported to a bright, clean place. From the above, it becomes clear that the brother was pardoned and sent from hell to heaven. The righteous, thanks to the fact that they have not lived their lives in vain, go to heaven and look forward to the Day of Judgment.

The teachings of Pythagoras

As mentioned earlier, there are a huge number of theories and myths regarding the afterlife. For many centuries, scientists and clergy have been studying the question: how to find out where a person ended up after death, looking for answers, arguing, looking for facts and evidence. One of these theories was the teachings of Pythagoras about the transmigration of souls, the so-called reincarnation. The same opinion was held by such scientists as Plato and Socrates. A huge amount of information about reincarnation can be found in such a mystical current as Kabbalah. Its essence lies in the fact that the soul has a certain purpose, or a lesson that it must go through and learn. If during life the person in which this soul lives does not cope with this task, it is reborn.

What happens to the body after death? It dies and it is impossible to resurrect it, but the soul is looking for a new life for itself. In this theory, it is also interesting that, as a rule, all people who are in a family relationship are not related at all by chance. More specifically, the same souls are constantly looking for each other and finding. For example, in a past life, your mom might have been your daughter or even your spouse. Since the soul has no gender, it can have both a feminine principle and a masculine one, it all depends on which body it gets into.

There is an opinion that our friends and other halves are also kindred souls who are connected with us karmically. There is one more nuance: for example, the son and father constantly have conflicts, no one wants to give in, until the last days, two relatives are literally at war with each other. Most likely, in the next life, fate will bring these souls together again, as brother and sister or as husband and wife. This will continue until both of them find a compromise.

Pythagoras square

Supporters of the Pythagorean theory are most often interested not in what happens to the body after death, but in what kind of incarnation their soul lives and who they were in a past life. In order to find out these facts, the Pythagorean square was compiled. Let's try to understand it with an example. Let's say you were born on December 03, 1991. It is necessary to write the resulting numbers in a line and carry out some manipulations with them.

  1. It is necessary to add all the numbers and get the main one: 3 + 1 + 2 + 1 + 9 + 9 + 1 = 26 - this will be the first number.
  2. Next, you need to add the previous result: 2 + 6 = 8. This will be the second number.
  3. In order to get the third, from the first it is necessary to subtract the doubled first digit of the date of birth (in our case 03, we do not take zero, we subtract the three multiplied by 2): 26 - 3 x 2 = 20.
  4. The last number is obtained by adding the digits of the third working number: 2 + 0 = 2.

Now let's write down the date of birth and the results obtained:

In order to find out what kind of incarnation the soul lives, it is necessary to count all the numbers, except for zeros. In our case, the human soul, born on December 3, 1991, lives on the 12th incarnation. Having compiled the square of Pythagoras from these numbers, you can find out what characteristics it has.

Some facts

Many, of course, are interested in the question: is there life after death? All world religions are trying to give an answer to it, but there is still no unambiguous answer. Instead, in some sources, you can find some interesting facts about this topic. Of course, it cannot be said that the statements that will be given below are dogma. These are most likely just some interesting thoughts on this topic.

What is death

It is difficult to answer the question of whether there is life after death without finding out the main signs of this process. In medicine, this concept is understood as the arrest of breathing and heartbeat. But we should not forget that these are signs of the death of the human body. On the other hand, there is evidence that the mummified body of a monk-priest continues to show all the signs of life: soft tissues are pressed through, joints are bent, and a fragrance emanates from it. Some mummified bodies even grow nails and hair, which, perhaps, confirms the fact that certain biological processes in the deceased body do occur.

And what happens a year after the death of an ordinary person? The body, of course, decomposes.

Finally

Considering all of the above, we can say that the body is just one of the human shells. Besides him, there is also a soul - an eternal substance. Almost all world religions agree that after the death of the body, the soul of a person still lives, someone believes that it is reborn in another person, and someone believes that it lives in Heaven, but one way or another, it continues to exist ... All thoughts, feelings, emotions are the spiritual sphere of a person, which lives in spite of physical death. Thus, it can be considered that life after death exists, but it is no longer interconnected with the physical body.

The stories of patients who have experienced near-death experiences cause mixed reactions in people. Some such cases inspire optimism and belief in the immortality of the soul. Others try to explain mystical visions rationally, reducing them to hallucinations. What actually happens to the human consciousness during five minutes when doctors-resuscitators conjure over the body?

Eyewitness stories

Not all scientists are convinced that after the death of the physical body, our existence completely ceases. More and more often there are researchers who want to prove (perhaps first of all to themselves) that after a bodily death a person's consciousness continues to live. The first serious research on this topic was carried out in the 70s of the XX century by Raymond Moody, the author of the book "Life After Death". But even now the area of near-death experiences is of considerable interest to scientists and physicians.

Renowned cardiologist Moritz Roolings

The professor in his book "Beyond the Threshold of Death" raised questions about the work of consciousness at the time of clinical death. A renowned specialist in cardiology, Roolings has systematized many stories from patients who have experienced temporary cardiac arrest.

Afterword by Hieromonk Seraphim (Rose)

Once Moritz Roolings, bringing a patient back to life, gave him a chest massage. The man regained consciousness for a moment and asked not to stop. The doctor was surprised as heart massage is a painful procedure. The patient was seen to be experiencing genuine fear. "I'm in hell!" - the man shouted and begged to continue the massage, fearing that his heart would stop and he would have to return to that terrible place.

Resuscitation ended in success, and the man told what horrors he had to see during cardiac arrest. The suffering he experienced completely changed his worldview, and he decided to turn to religion. The patient never wanted to go to hell anymore and was ready to radically change his lifestyle.

This episode pushed the professor to the idea of starting to write down the stories of patients whom he snatched from the clutches of death. According to Roolings' observations, about 50% of the patients interviewed had been at the time of clinical death in a beautiful paradise, from where they did not want to return to the real world.

The experience of the other half is completely opposite. Their near-death images were associated with anguish and pain. The space where the souls were inhabited by terrible creatures. These cruel creatures literally tormented sinners, making them experience incredible suffering. After returning to life, these patients had one desire - to do everything possible to never go to hell again.

Stories from the Russian press

Newspapers have repeatedly addressed the topic of out-of-body experiences of people who have gone through clinical death. Among the many stories, one can note the case associated with Galina Lagoda, who became the victim of a car accident.

It was a miracle that the woman did not die on the spot. Doctors diagnosed numerous fractures, tissue rupture in the area of the kidneys and lungs. The brain was injured, the heart stopped and the pressure dropped to zero.

According to Galina's recollections, at first the emptiness of the endless space appeared before her gaze. After a while, she found herself standing on a platform filled with unearthly light. The woman saw a man in white robes that radiated radiance. Apparently, due to the bright light, the face of this creature was impossible to see.

The man asked the question what brought her here. To this Galina said that she was very tired and would like to rest. The man listened with understanding to the answer and allowed her to stay here for a while, and then ordered her to come back, because there are many things to do in the world of the living.

When Galina Lagoda regained consciousness, she had an amazing gift. While examining her fractures, she suddenly asked the orthopedic surgeon about his stomach. The doctor was dumbfounded by the question because he was really bothered by stomach pains.

Now Galina is a healer of people, because she can see diseases and bears healing. After returning from the afterlife, she calmly refers to death and believes in the eternal existence of the soul.

Another incident happened with the reserve major Yuri Burkov. He himself does not like these memories, and the journalists learned the story from his wife Lyudmila. Having fallen from a great height, Yuri seriously injured his spine. He was taken to the hospital unconscious with a head injury. In addition, Yuri's heart stopped and his body went into a coma.

The wife was acutely worried about these events. With stress, she lost her keys. And when Yuri came to his senses, he asked Lyudmila if she had found them, after which he advised to look under the stairs.

Yuri confessed to his wife that during a coma, he flew in the form of a small cloud and could be next to her. He also spoke about another world, where he met with his deceased parents and brother. There he realized that people do not die, but simply live in a different form.

Reborn. A documentary about Galina Lagoda and other famous people who survived clinical death:

Skeptics' opinion

There will always be people who do not accept such stories as an argument for the existence of an afterlife. All these pictures of heaven and hell, according to skeptics, are produced by a fading brain. And the specific content depends on the information that religion, parents, and the media gave during their lifetime.

Utilitarian explanation

Consider the point of view of a person who does not believe in a posthumous existence. This is the Russian resuscitator Nikolai Gubin. As a practicing physician, Nikolai is firmly convinced that visions of a patient during clinical death are nothing more than the consequences of toxic psychosis. The images associated with the exit from the body, the view of the tunnel, are a kind of sleep, hallucination, which is caused by oxygen starvation of the visual part of the brain. The field of view is sharply narrowed, which gives the impression of a limited space in the form of a tunnel.

Russian doctor Nikolai Gubin believes that all visions of people at the time of clinical death are hallucinations of a fading brain.

Gubin also tried to explain why, at the moment of dying, his whole life passes before the gaze of a person. The resuscitator believes that the memory of different periods is stored in different parts of the brain. First, cells with fresh memories fail, at the very end - with memories of early childhood. The process of restoring memory cells is in reverse order: first, the earlier memory is returned, and then the later one. This creates the illusion of a chronological film.

Another explanation

Psychologist Payell Watson has his own theory of what people see when their body dies. He firmly believes that the end and the beginning of life are interconnected. In a sense, death closes the ring of life, uniting with birth.

What Watson means is that human birth is an experience that he hardly remembers. Nevertheless, this memory is stored in his subconscious and is activated at the time of death. The tunnel that the dying person sees is the birth canal through which the fetus left the mother's womb. The psychologist believes that this is a rather difficult experience for the psyche of an infant. In fact, this is our first encounter with death.

The psychologist says that no one knows exactly how a newborn perceives the process of birth. Perhaps these experiences are similar to different phases of dying. Tunnel, light are just echoes. These impressions simply resurrect in the mind of the dying person, of course, colored by personal experience and beliefs.

Interesting cases and evidence of eternal life

There are many stories that baffle modern scientists. They may not be considered conclusive evidence of an afterlife. However, it is also impossible to ignore, because these cases are documented and require serious research.

Imperishable Buddhist Monks

Doctors state the fact of death on the basis of the cessation of the respiratory function and the work of the heart. They call this condition clinical death. It is believed that if the body is not reanimated within five minutes, then irreversible changes occur in the brain, and then medicine is powerless.

However, there is such a phenomenon in the Buddhist tradition. A highly spiritual monk can, by entering a state of deep meditation, stop breathing and the work of the heart. Such monks retired in caves and there, in the lotus position, entered a special state. Legends claim that they can return to life, but such cases are unknown to official science.

The body of Dasha-Dorzho Itigelov remained incorrupt after 75 years.

Nevertheless, in the East there are such incorruptible monks, whose withered bodies have existed for decades without undergoing the processes of destruction. At the same time, their nails and hair grow, and the biofield is higher in power than that of an ordinary living person. Such monks were found on the island of Koh Samui in Thailand, China, Tibet.

In 1927, the Buryat lama Dashi-Dorzho Itigelov passed away. He gathered his disciples, took the lotus position and told them to recite a prayer for the dead. Leaving for nirvana, he promised that his body would be preserved in 75 years. All life processes stopped, after which the llama was buried in a cedar cube, without changing position.

After 75 years, the sarcophagus was removed to the surface and placed in the Ivolginsky datsan. As predicted by Dashi-Dorzho Itigelov, his body remained incorrupt.

Forgotten tennis shoe

In a hospital in the United States, there was a case of a young emigrant from South America named Maria.

While exiting the body, Maria noticed a forgotten tennis shoe by someone.

During clinical death, the woman experienced a way out of the physical body and flew a little along the hospital corridors. During an out-of-body trip, she noticed a tennis shoe lying on the stairs.

Upon her return to the real world, Maria asked the nurse to check if there was a lost shoe on that staircase. And it turned out that Maria's story turned out to be true, although the patient had never been to that place.

Polka dot dress and broken cup

Another fantastic case occurred with a Russian woman who suffered cardiac arrest during surgery. The doctors managed to bring the patient back to life.

The woman later told the doctor what she experienced during her clinical death. Coming out of the body, the woman saw herself on the operating table. The thought came to my mind that she might die here, but did not even have time to say goodbye to her family. This thought mobilized the patient to rush to her home.

There were her little daughter, mother and a neighbor who came to visit and brought her daughter a dress with polka dots. They sat and drank tea. Someone dropped and broke the cup. To this, the neighbor noticed that it was for luck.

The doctor later spoke to the patient's mother. And in fact, on the day of the operation, a neighbor came to visit and she brought a dress with polka dots. And the cup broke then too. As it turned out, fortunately, because the patient was on the mend.

Napoleon's signature

This story is perhaps a legend. It seems too fantastic. This happened in France in 1821. Napoleon died in exile on Saint Helena. The French throne was occupied by Louis XVIII.

The news of the death of Bonaparte made the king think. He could not sleep that night. Candles lit the bedroom dimly. On the table lay the marriage contract of Marshal Auguste Marmont. The document was supposed to be signed by Napoleon, but the former emperor did not manage to do this due to the military turmoil.

At exactly midnight the city clock struck and the bedroom door opened. Bonaparte himself stood on the threshold. He proudly walked across the room, sat down at the table and took the quill in his hand. The new king fainted from surprise. And when he came to himself in the morning, he was surprised to find Napoleon's signature on the document. The authenticity of the handwriting was confirmed by experts.

Return from another world

Based on the stories of returning patients, one can get an idea of what happens at the moment of dying.

Researcher Raymond Moody has systematized the experiences of people at the stage of clinical death. He managed to highlight the following general points:

  1. Stopping the physiological functions of the body. At the same time, the patient even hears how the doctor ascertains the fact that the heart and respiration are disconnected.
  2. View your entire life.
  3. Humming sounds that increase in volume.
  4. Exiting the body, traveling through a long tunnel, at the end of which a light is visible.
  5. Arrival at a place filled with radiant light.
  6. Peace of mind, extraordinary peace of mind.
  7. Meeting with people who have passed away. As a rule, these are relatives or close friends.
  8. Meeting with a being from whom light and love emanate. Perhaps this is a human guardian angel.
  9. A pronounced unwillingness to return to your physical body.

In this video, Sergei Sklyar talks about his return from the afterlife:

The secret of the dark and light worlds

Those who had a chance to visit the Zone of Light returned to the real world in a state of goodness and peace. They are no longer worried about the fear of death. Those who saw the Dark Worlds were struck by terrible pictures and for a long time cannot forget the horror and pain that they had to endure.

These cases suggest that religious beliefs about the afterlife coincide with the experiences of patients who have been beyond death. Above is paradise, or the Kingdom of Heaven. Below the soul awaits hell, or the Underworld.

What is paradise

The famous American actress Sharon Stone was convinced by personal experience of the existence of paradise. She shared her experiences during the Oprah Winfrey TV show on May 27, 2004. After the procedure for magnetic resonance imaging, Stone lost consciousness for several minutes. According to her, this state resembled fainting.

During this period, she found herself in a space with soft white light. There she was met by people who were no longer alive: deceased relatives, friends, good acquaintances. The actress realized that these are kindred spirits who are happy to see her in that world.

Sharon Stone is absolutely sure that for a short time she managed to visit paradise, so great was the feeling of love, happiness, grace and pure joy.

Interesting is the experience of Betty Maltz, who based on her experiences wrote the book "I Seen Eternity". The place she went to during her clinical death had a fabulous beauty. There were magnificent green hills, wonderful trees and flowers.

Betty found herself in an amazingly beautiful place.

The sun was not visible in the sky in that world, but the entire neighborhood is filled with shining divine light. Beside Betty walked a tall young man dressed in loose white clothes. Betty realized that it was an angel. Then they came to a tall silvery building, from which beautiful, melodic voices were heard. They repeated the word "Jesus".

When the angel opened the gate, a bright light rushed over Betty, which is difficult to describe in words. And then the woman realized that this light that carries love is Jesus. Then Betty remembered her father, who had prayed for her return. She turned back and walked down the hill, and soon woke up in her human body.

Journey to Hell - facts, stories, real cases

Leaving the body does not always carry the soul of a person into the space of Divine light and love. Some describe their experiences in a very negative way.

The chasm behind the white wall

Jennifer Perez was 15 years old when she had a chance to visit Hell. There was an endless wall of sterile white. The wall was very high, and there was a door in it. Jennifer tried to open it, but to no avail. Soon the girl saw another door, it was black, and the lock was opened. But even the sight of this door caused an inexplicable horror.

The angel Gabriel appeared nearby. He gripped her wrist tightly and led her to the black door. Jennifer begged her to let go, tried to escape, but to no avail. Darkness awaited them outside the door. The girl began to fall rapidly.

Having survived the horror of the fall, she barely regained consciousness. An intolerable heat reigned here, from which he was painfully thirsty. Around the devils, they mocked human souls in every possible way. Jennifer turned to Gabriel with a plea for water. The angel looked at her intently and suddenly announced that she was being given another chance. After these words, the girl's soul returned to her body.

Hellish hell

Bill Wyss also describes hell as a real hell, where a disembodied soul suffers from heat. There is a feeling of wild weakness and complete powerlessness. According to Bill, it took a while for him to understand where his soul had gone. But when the four terrible demons approached, everything became clear to the man. The air smelled of gray and burnt skin.

Many describe hell as a kingdom of incinerating fire.

The demons began to torment the man with their claws. It was strange that blood did not flow from the wounds, but the pain was enormous. For some reason, Bill understood how these monsters were feeling. They oozed hatred for God and for all God's creatures.

Bill also remembered that in hell he was tormented by unbearable thirst. However, there was no one to ask for water. Bill lost all hope of deliverance, but the nightmare suddenly stopped and Bill woke up in a hospital room. But he remembered his stay in hellish heat.

Fiery hell

Among the people who managed to return to this world after clinical death was Thomas Welch from Oregon. He was an assistant engineer at a sawmill. During the construction work, Thomas stumbled and fell from the footbridge into the river, while hitting his head and losing consciousness. While they were looking for him, Welch experienced a strange vision.

A vast ocean of fire stretched before him. The sight was impressive, with a force that inspired horror and amazement. There was no one in this burning element, Thomas himself was standing on the shore, where many people had gathered. Among them, Welch recognized his school friend, who died of cancer as a child.

Those gathered were in a state of daze. They didn't seem to understand why they were in this frightening place. Then it dawned on Thomas that he, along with the others, was placed in a special prison, from where it was impossible to get out, because fire was spreading around everywhere.

Out of despair, Thomas Welch thought about his past life, wrong actions and mistakes. Involuntarily he turned to God with a prayer for salvation. And then he saw Jesus Christ walking by. Welch was ashamed to ask for help, but Jesus seemed to feel it and turned around. It was this look that made Thomas wake up in his physical body. Nearby were sawmills who rescued him from the river.

When the heart stops

Pastor Kenneth Hagin of Texas became a priest thanks to the experience of clinical death, which overtook him on April 21, 1933. Then he was less than 16 years old, and he suffered from congenital heart disease.

On that day, Kenneth's heart stopped and his soul fluttered out of his body. But her path lay not to heaven, but in the opposite direction. Kenneth plunged into the abyss. There was pitch darkness all around. As he moved down, Kenneth began to feel a heat that apparently came from hell. Then he found himself on the road. A shapeless mass of flame was advancing on him. She seemed to be drawing the soul inside herself.

Heat covered Kenneth's head, and he found himself in some kind of hole. At this time, the teenager clearly heard the voice of God. Yes, the voice of the Creator himself sounded in hell! It spread throughout space, shaking it like the wind flutters leaves. Kenneth focused on this sound, and suddenly some force pulled him out of the darkness and began to lift him up. Soon he woke up in his bed and saw his grandmother, who was very happy, since she no longer hoped to see him alive. After that, Kenneth decided to devote his life to serving God.

Conclusion

So, according to the stories of eyewitnesses, after the death of a person, both the heavenly tabernacle and the hellish abyss can await. You can believe it or not. One conclusion definitely suggests itself - a person will have to answer for his actions. Even if hell and heaven do not exist, there are human memories. And it is better if after a person leaves life a good memory of him remains.

Incredible facts

Disappointing news: scientists insist that there is no life after death.

The famous physicist believes that humanity needs to stop believing in the afterlife and focus on the existing laws of the Universe.

Sean Carroll, cosmologist and professor of physics at California Institute of Technology put an end to the question of life after death.

He stated that "the laws of physics that dictate our daily life have been fully understood," and everything happens within the limits of the possible.

Is there life after death

The scientist explained that for the existence of life after death consciousness must be completely separated from our physical body, which does not happen.

Rather, consciousness at its most basic level is a series of atoms and electrons that are responsible for our minds.

The laws of the universe do not allow these particles to exist after our physical departure from life, says Dr. Carroll.

Claiming that some form of consciousness remains after the body has died and decomposed into atoms encounters one insurmountable obstacle. The laws of physics prevent the information stored in our brain from staying after we die.

Dr. Carroll cites quantum field theory as an example. Simply put, according to this theory, there is a field for every type of particle. For example, all photons in the Universe are at the same damage, all electrons have their own field, and so on for each type of particles.

The scientist explains that if life continued after death, they would find "spirit particles" or "spiritual forces" in quantum field tests.

However, the researchers did not find anything like this.

What does a person feel before dying?

Of course, there are not many ways to find out what happens to a person after death. On the other hand, many people wonder how a person feels when the end is approaching.

According to scientists, a lot depends on how a person dies. For example, a person dying of an illness may be too weak and sick and unconscious to describe their feelings.

For this reason, much of what is known has been gathered from observations, and not from the inner experiences of a person. There are also testimonies of those who experienced clinical death, but returned and talked about what they experienced.

1. You lose your feelings

According to the testimony of specialists caring for hopelessly sick people, a dying person loses feelings in a certain sequence.

First of all, the feeling of hunger and thirst disappears, then the ability to speak and then to see is lost. Hearing and touch usually last longer, but then they disappear.

2. You may feel like you are sleeping

Near-death survivors were asked to describe how they felt, and their responses were surprisingly consistent with research in this area.

In 2014, scientists studied the dreams of people near death, and most of them (about 88 percent) reported very vivid dreams that often seemed real to them. In most dreams, people saw close deceased people and at the same time experienced peace rather than fear.

3. Life flashes before your eyes

You can also see the light you are approaching or the feeling that you are separating from the body.

Scientists have found that right before death, a surge of activity is observed in the human brain, which may explain the near-death experience and the feeling that life flashes before our eyes.

4. You can be aware of what is happening around you.

When researchers examined how a person feels during the period when he was officially considered dead, they found that the brain was still functioning for some time, and this is enough to hear conversations or see events happening around, which was confirmed by those who were nearby.

5. You may feel pain

If you have been physically injured, you may experience pain. Strangulation is considered one of the most painful experiences in this sense. Cancers are often painful because the growth of cancer cells affects many organs.

Some diseases may not be as painful as, for example, respiratory diseases, but cause great discomfort and difficulty in breathing.

6. You may feel normal.

In 1957, the herpetologist Karl Patterson Schmidt was bitten by a poisonous snake. He did not know that the bite would kill him in a day, and wrote down all the symptoms he experienced.

He wrote that at first he felt "severe chills and tremors", "bleeding in the mucous membrane of the mouth" and "slight bleeding in the intestines," but in general his condition was normal. He even called work and said that he would come the next day, but this did not happen, and he died shortly after.

7. Dizziness

In 2012, footballer Fabrice Muamba suffered a heart attack in the middle of a match. For some time he was in a state of clinical death, but was later resuscitated. When asked to describe this moment, he said that he felt dizzy, and that is all he remembers.

8. Feel nothing

After the footballer Muamba felt dizzy, he said he felt nothing. He had neither positive nor negative emotions. And if your senses are turned off, how can you feel?

At some point in life, more often from a certain age, when relatives and friends leave this life, a person is inclined to ask questions about death and about the possible life after death. We have already written materials on this topic, and you can read the answers to some questions.

But it seems that the number of questions is only growing and we want to explore this topic a little deeper.

Life is eternal

In this article, we will not present the arguments for and against the existence of life after death. We will proceed from the assumption that there is life after the death of the body.

Over the past 50–70 years, tens of thousands of written evidence and research results have been accumulated in medicine and psychology, which make it possible to remove the veil from this mystery.

It should be noted that, on the one hand, all recorded cases of posthumous experiences or travels are different from each other. But, on the other hand, they all coincide in key points.

Such as

  • death is simply a transition from one form of life to another;
  • when consciousness leaves the body, it simply passes into other worlds and universes;
  • the soul, freed from physical experiences, experiences extraordinary lightness, bliss, and the sharpening of all the senses;
  • feeling of flying;
  • the spiritual worlds are saturated with light and love;
  • in the posthumous world there is no time and space familiar to a person;
  • consciousness does not work as it does during life in the body, everything is perceived and grasped almost instantly;
  • the eternity of life is realized.

Life After Death: Recorded Real Cases and Recorded Facts

The number of recorded accounts of eyewitnesses who have experienced life outside the body today is so great that they could turn out to be a large encyclopedia. Or maybe a small library.

Perhaps the largest number of reported cases of life after death can be found in the books of Michael Newton, Ian Stevenson, Raymond Moody, Robert Monroe and Edgar Cayce.

Several thousand transcribed audio recordings of regressive hypnosis sessions about soul life between incarnations can only be found in the books of Michael Newton.

Michael Newton began to use regressive hypnosis to treat his patients, especially those who could not be helped by traditional medicine and psychology.

At first, he was surprised to find that many serious problems in life, including with the health of patients, had their causes in past lives.

After several decades of research, Newton not only developed a mechanism for treating complex physical and psychological trauma that began in past incarnations, but also collected the largest amount of evidence for the existence of life after death to date.

Michael Newton's first book, The Travels of the Soul, was released in 1994, followed by several more books on life in the spirit worlds.

These books describe not only the mechanism of the soul's transition from one life to another, but also how we choose our birth, our parents, relatives, friends, trials and circumstances of life.

In one of the prefaces to his book, Michael Newton wrote: “We will all return home. Where only pure, unconditional love, compassion and harmony exist side by side. You need to understand that at the present time you are in the school, the school of the Earth, and when the training is over, this loving harmony is waiting for you. It must be remembered that every experience you have during your current life contributes to personal, spiritual growth. Regardless of when and how your training ends, you will return home to unconditional love, which is always available and awaits all of us. "

But the main thing is not only that Newton collected the largest amount of detailed evidence, he also developed a tool that allows anyone to get their own experience.

Today, regressive hypnosis is also presented in Russia, and if you want to resolve your doubts about the existence of an immortal soul, now you have the opportunity to check it yourself.

To do this, it is enough to find on the Internet the contacts of a specialist in regressive hypnosis. However, take the time to read the reviews to avoid any unpleasant disappointment.

Books are not the only source of information about life after death today. Films and TV series are shot on this topic.

One of the most famous films on this topic, based on the true events of "Heaven is Real" 2014. The film was based on the book "Heaven Really Exists" by Todd Burpo.

Shot from the movie "Heaven is Real"

A book about the story of a 4-year-old boy who experienced clinical death during an operation, went to heaven and returned back, recorded by his father.

This story is amazing in its details. Out of body, 4-year-old Kilton could see clearly what the doctors and his parents were doing. Which exactly corresponded to what was actually happening.

Kilton describes heaven and its inhabitants in great detail, although his heart stopped for only a few minutes. During his stay in heaven, the boy learns such details about the life of the family, which, according to his father's assurances, he could not have known, at least because of his age.

The child, during his out-of-body trip, saw dead relatives, angels, Jesus and even the Virgin Mary, apparently due to a Catholic upbringing. The boy watched the past and the near future.

The events described in the book forced Father Kilton to completely reconsider his views on life, death and what awaits us after death.

Interesting cases and evidence of eternal life

An interesting incident happened a few years ago with our compatriot Vladimir Efremov.

Vladimir Grigorievich had a spontaneous exit from the body due to cardiac arrest... In a word, Vladimir Grigorievich experienced clinical death in February 2014, about which he told his relatives and colleagues in all details.

And it seemed that you would think of one more case confirming the existence of an afterlife. But the fact is that Vladimir Efremov is not just an ordinary person, not a psychic, but a scientist with an impeccable reputation in his circles.

And according to Vladimir Grigorievich himself, before he had a chance to survive clinical death, he considered himself an atheist and perceived stories about the afterlife as a intoxication of religion. He devoted most of his professional life to the development of rocket systems and space engines.

Therefore, for Efremov himself, the experience of contact with the afterlife was very unexpected, but he largely changed his views on the nature of reality.

It is noteworthy that in his experience there is also light, serenity, extraordinary clarity of perception, a pipe (tunnel) and there is no sense of time and space.

But, since Vladimir Efremov is a scientist, a designer of air and space flying vehicles, he gives a very interesting description of the world in which his consciousness found itself. He explains it with physical and mathematical concepts that are unusually far from religious concepts.

He notes that a person in the afterlife sees what he wants to see, which is why there are so many differences in the descriptions. Despite the previous atheism, Vladimir Grigorievich noted that the presence of God was felt everywhere.

There was no visible form of God, but his presence was not in doubt. Later, Efremov even made a presentation on this topic to his colleagues. Listen to the story of an eyewitness.

Dalai lama

One of the greatest proofs of eternal life is known to many, just few people thought about it. The Nobel Peace Prize laureate, the spiritual leader of Tibet, the Dalai Lama XIV, is the 14th incarnation of the consciousness (soul) of the 1st Dalai Lama.

But they began the tradition of reincarnation of the main spiritual leader, in order to preserve the purity of knowledge even earlier. In the Tibetan Kagyu lineage, the highest incarnate Lama is called Karmapa. And now the Karmapa is experiencing his 17th incarnation.

Based on the story of the death of Karmapa 16 and the search for a child in whom he will be reborn, the famous film "Little Buddha" was shot.

In the traditions of Buddhism and Hinduism, in general, the practice of reincarnation is very widespread. But it is especially widely known in Tibetan Buddhism.

It is not only the supreme lamas such as the Dalai Lama or the Karmapa who are reborn. After death, their closest disciples come to the new human body almost without interruption, whose task is to recognize the soul of the Lama in the child.

There is a whole ritual of recognition, including recognition among many personal things from a previous incarnation. And everyone is free to decide for himself whether or not he believes in these stories.

But in the political life of the world, some tend to take this seriously.

So, the new reincarnation of the Dalai Lama is always recognized by the Pancha Lama, who in turn is also reborn after each death. It is the Pancha Lama who finally confirms that the child is the embodiment of the consciousness of the Dalai Lama.

And it so happened that the current Pancha Lama is still a child and lives in China. Moreover, he cannot leave this country, because the Chinese government needs him, so that without their participation it would not be possible to determine the new incarnation of the Dalai Lama.

Therefore, in the past few years, the spiritual leader of Tibet sometimes jokes and says that perhaps he will no longer incarnate or incarnate in a female body. You can certainly argue that these are Buddhists and they have such beliefs and this is not evidence. But it seems that the heads of some states perceive it differently.

Bali - "Island of the Gods"

Another interesting fact takes place in Indonesia, on the Hindu island of Bali. In Hinduism, the theory of reincarnation is key and the inhabitants of the island deeply believe in it. They believe so strongly that during the cremation of the body, the relatives of the deceased ask the gods to allow the soul, if it wants to be reborn on earth, to be born again in Bali.

It is quite understandable that the island lives up to its name "Island of the Gods". Moreover, if the family of the deceased is prosperous, they are asked to return to the family.

When a child reaches 3 years of age, there is a tradition to take him to a special priest who has the ability to determine which soul has come into this body. And sometimes it turns out to be the soul of a great-grandmother, or an uncle. And the existence of the entire island, practically a small state, is determined by these beliefs.

Modern science's view of life after death

The scientific outlook on death and life has changed dramatically over the past 50–70 years, largely due to the development of quantum physics and biology. In recent decades, scientists have come closer than ever to unraveling what happens to consciousness after life leaves the body.

If 100 years ago science denied the existence of consciousness or soul, today it is already a generally accepted fact, as well as the fact that the consciousness of the experimenter influences the results of the experiment.

So does the soul exist, and is Consciousness immortal from a scientific point of view? - Yes

Neuroscientist Christoph Koch in April 2016 at a meeting of scientists with the Dalai Lama 14 said that the latest theories in brain science view consciousness as a property that is inherent in everything that exists.

Consciousness is inherent in everything and is present everywhere, just as gravity acts on all objects without exception.

The second life in our days has received the theory of "Panpsychism" - the theory of a single universal consciousness. This theory is present in Buddhism, in Greek philosophical views and pagan traditions. But for the first time, science supports Panpsychism.

Giulio Tononi, the author of the well-known modern theory of consciousness "Integrated Information Theory" states the following: "Consciousness exists in physical systems in the form of diverse and multilaterally interconnected pieces of information."

Christopher Koch and Giulio Tononi made a startling statement for modern science:

"Consciousness is a fundamental quality inherent in reality."

Based on this hypothesis, Koch and Tononi invented a unit for measuring consciousness and called it phi. Scientists have already developed a test that measures phi in the human brain.

A magnetic pulse is sent to the human brain and measured how the signal is reflected in the neurons of the brain.

The longer and clearer the reverberation of the brain in response to a magnetic stimulus, the more consciousness a person has.

Using this technique, it is possible to determine what state a person is in, whether he is awake, asleep or under anesthesia.

This method of measuring consciousness has found widespread use in medicine. The phi level helps to accurately establish whether the actual death has occurred or the patient is in a vegetative state.

The test helps to find out at what time consciousness begins to develop in the fetus and how clearly a person is aware of himself in a state of dementia or dementia.

Several proofs of the existence of the soul and its immortality

Here again we are faced with what can be considered proof of the existence of the soul. In court cases, the testimony of witnesses is evidence in favor of the innocence and guilt of the suspects.

And for most of us, the stories of people, especially those close to us, who have experienced a posthumous experience or the separation of the soul from the body will be evidence of the presence of a soul. However, it is not certain that scientists will accept this evidence as such.

Where is the point after which stories and myths become scientifically proven?

Moreover, today we already know that many of the inventions of the human mind, which we use now, 200-300 years ago were present exclusively in fantastic works.

The simplest example of this is an airplane.

Evidence from psychiatrist Jim Tucker

So let's look at several of the cases described by psychiatrist Jim B. Tucker as evidence for the existence of the soul. Moreover, what can be a great proof of the immortality of the soul, if not reincarnation or the memory of your past incarnations?

Like Ian Stevenson, Jim has spent decades researching reincarnation based on children's past life memories.

In his book Life Before Life: A Scientific Study of Childhood Memories of Past Lives, he provided an overview of more than 40 years of reincarnation research at the University of Virginia.

The research was based on children's accurate memories of their past incarnations.

The book also discusses birthmarks and birth defects that are present in children and correlate with the cause of death in the previous incarnation.

Jim started studying this issue after he was faced with a rather frequent appeal from parents who claimed that their babies tell very consistent stories about their past lives.

Names, occupation, place of residence and circumstances of death are given. What a surprise it was when some of the stories were confirmed: houses were found in which children lived in their previous incarnations and graves where they were buried.

There were too many such cases to be considered a coincidence or a hoax. Moreover, in some cases, young children at the age of 2-4 years already possessed skills that they claimed to have mastered perfectly in past lives. Here are some examples.

Baby Hunter incarnation

Hunter, a 2-year-old toddler, told his parents that he was a multiple golf champion. He lived in the United States of America in the mid-1930s and was called Bobby Jones. At the same time, in his two years, Hunter played well at golf.

So good that he was allowed to study in the section, despite the existing restrictions on the age of 5 years. Not surprisingly, parents decided to check on their son. They printed out photographs of several athletes, golfers, and asked the boy to recognize himself.

Hunter pointed to the picture of Bobby Jones without hesitation. By the age of seven, memories of his past life began to blur, but the boy still plays golf and has already won several competitions.

The incarnation of James

Another example about the boy James. He was about 2.5 years old when he spoke about his past life and how he died. At first, the child began to have nightmares about the plane crash.

But one day James told his mother that he was a military pilot and died in a plane crash during the war with Japan. His plane was shot down near Iota Island. The boy described in detail how the bomb hit the engine and the plane began to fall into the ocean.

He remembered that in a past life his name was James Houston, he grew up in Pennsylvania, and his father suffered from alcoholism.

The boy's father turned to the military archives, where it turned out that a pilot named James Houston really existed. He took part in an air operation off the islands of Japan during the Second World War. Houston died off the island of Iota, exactly as the child described.

Reincarnation researcher Ian Stevens

The books of another equally famous researcher of reincarnation, Ian Stevens, contain about 3 thousand verified and confirmed childhood memories of past incarnations. Unfortunately, his books have not yet been translated into Russian, and so far are available only in English.

His first book was published in 1997 and was called Stevenson's Reincarnation and Biology: Contributions to the Etiology of Birthmarks and Birth Defects.

During the work on this book, two hundred cases of birth defects or birthmarks in children were investigated that could not be explained from a medical or genetic point of view. At the same time, the children themselves explained their origin by events from past lives.

For example, there have been cases of children with incorrect or missing fingers. Children with such defects often remember the circumstances in which these injuries were received, where and at what age. Many of the stories were corroborated by later found death certificates and even stories from living relatives.

There was a boy with moles, which in shape very much resembled the inlet and outlet from a bullet wound. The boy himself claimed to have died from a gunshot to the head. He remembered his name and the house in which he lived.

Later, the deceased's sister was found, confirming the name of her brother and the fact that he had shot himself in the head.

All the thousands and thousands of similar cases recorded to date are proof not only of the existence of the soul, but also of its immortality. Moreover, thanks to many years of research by Ian Stevenson, Jim B. Tucker, Michael Newton and others, we know that sometimes no more than 6 years can pass between incarnations of a soul.

In general, according to the research of Michael Newton, the soul itself chooses how soon and why it wants to incarnate again.

Another proof of the existence of the soul was obtained with the discovery of the atom

The discovery of the atom and its structure led to the fact that scientists, especially quantum physicists, were forced to admit that at the quantum level, everything that exists in the universe, absolutely everything, is one.

An atom is 90 percent space (emptiness), which means that all living and nonliving bodies, including the human body, also consist of space itself.

It is noteworthy that now more and more quantum physicists are practicing oriental meditation practices, because, in their opinion, they allow one to experience this fact of unity.

John Hagelin, a famous quantum physicist and popularizer of science, said in one of his interviews that for all quantum physicists our unity at the subatomic level is a proven fact.

But if you want not just to know this, but to experience it yourself, take up meditation, because it will help you find access to this space of peace and love, which is already present inside everyone, but is simply not realized.

You can call it God, the soul or the higher mind, the fact of its existence will not change at all from this.

Can mediums, psychics and many creative personalities connect to this space?

Religions' opinion on death

The opinion of all religions about death converges on one thing - with death in this world you are born in another. But the descriptions of otherworldly worlds in the Bible, Koran, Kabbalah, Vedas and other religious books differ in accordance with the cultural characteristics of the countries where this or that religion was born.

But taking into account the hypothesis that the soul after death sees the worlds that it is inclined and wants to see, we can conclude that all differences in religious views on life after death are explained precisely by differences in faith and beliefs.

Spiritualism: communication with the departed

It seems that a person has always had the desire to communicate with the dead. Because throughout the entire existence of human culture, there were people who were able to communicate with the spirits of deceased ancestors.

In the Middle Ages, shamans, priests and sorcerers were engaged in this, in our time people with such abilities are called mediums or psychics.

If you watch TV at least occasionally, you might have stumbled upon a television show that shows sessions of communication with the spirits of the deceased.

One of the most famous shows, in which communication with the departed is a key topic - "Battle of psychics" on TNT.

It is difficult to say how real is what the viewer sees on the screen. But one thing is for sure - now it is not difficult to find a person who will help you contact a deceased loved one.

But when choosing a medium, you should take care of getting verified recommendations. At the same time, you can try to configure this link yourself.

Yes, not everyone has psychic abilities, but many can develop them. There are often cases when communication with the deceased occurs spontaneously.

This usually happens up to 40 days after death, until the time has come for the soul to fly away from the earthly plane. During this period, communication can occur by itself, especially if the deceased has something to say to you and you are emotionally open to such communication.

Man knows little about the afterlife. Scientists cannot come to a consensus at all whether it exists, because it is impossible to prove it. You can only trust those who have experienced clinical death and saw what is happening beyond the line. In this article we will try to figure out whether there is an afterlife, what its secrets have been revealed today, and what else remains inaccessible to humans.

The afterlife is a mystery. Each person has their own personal opinion about whether it can exist. Basically, the answers are based on what the person believes in. The adherents of the Christian religion are unambiguous in the opinion that a person continues to live after death, because only his body dies, and his soul is immortal.

There is evidence of an afterlife. All of them are based on the stories of people who had to be with one leg in the next world. We are talking about people who have experienced clinical death. They say that after the heart stops and other vital organs stop working, events develop as follows:

  • The human soul leaves the body. The deceased sees himself from the outside, and this shocks him, although the state as a whole at such a moment is described as peaceful.
  • After that, the person goes on a journey through the tunnel and comes either where it is light and beautiful, or where it is scary and disgusting.
  • On the way, a person views his life like a movie. Before him there are the brightest moments that have a moral basis, which he had to endure on earth.
  • None of those who visited the other world felt any torment - everyone talked about what was good, free, easy there. There, according to them, happiness, because there are people who have long passed away, and they are all contented, happy.

Scientists believe that people who have experienced clinical death are not afraid to die for real. Some even wait for their time to depart to another world.

Each nation has its own beliefs and understanding of how the dead live in the afterlife:

  1. For example, the inhabitants of Ancient Egypt believed that in the afterlife, a person first of all meets the god Osiris, who conducts a judgment on them. If a person did a lot of bad deeds during his lifetime, then his soul was given up to be torn apart by terrible animals. If he was kind and decent during his lifetime, then his soul went to heaven. Until now, the inhabitants of modern Egypt adhere to this opinion about life after death.
  2. A similar idea of the afterlife and the Greeks. Only they believe that the soul after death definitely goes to the god Hades, and there it remains forever. Only a select few can Hades let go to paradise.
  3. But the Slavs believe in the rebirth of the human soul. They believe that after the death of the human body, she goes to heaven for some time, and then returns to earth, but in a different dimension.
  4. Hindus and Buddhists are convinced that a person's soul does not go to heaven at all. She, freeing herself from the human body, immediately seeks another refuge for herself.

18 secrets of the afterlife

Scientists, trying to investigate what happens to the human body after death, have made several conclusions that we want to tell our readers about. Many of these facts serve as the basis for the afterlife movie scripts. What facts are we talking about:

  • Within 3 days after a person dies, his body decomposes completely.
  • Men who have committed suicide by hanging always have a posthumous erection.
  • The human brain, after his heart stops, lives for a maximum of 20 seconds.
  • After a person dies, their weight drops significantly. This fact has been proven by Dr. Duncan McDougalo.

  • Obese people who died like that, a few days after their death, turn into soap. The fat begins to melt.
  • If you bury a person alive, then death will come for him in 6 hours.
  • After a person dies, his hair and nails stop growing.
  • If a child goes through clinical death, then he sees only good pictures, unlike adults.
  • Residents of Madagascar each time for a commemoration, they dig up the remains of their deceased relative in order to dance ritual dances with them.
  • The very last feeling that a person loses after his death is hearing.
  • The memory of events in life on earth remains in the brain forever.
  • Some blind people who were born with such a pathology can see what will happen to them after death.
  • In the afterlife, a person remains himself - the same as he was during his lifetime. All the qualities of his character, reason are preserved.
  • The brain continues to be supplied with blood if the person's heart has stopped. This happens until complete biological death is ascertained.
  • After an adult dies, he sees himself as a child. Children, on the other hand, see themselves as adults.
  • In the afterlife, people are equally beautiful. No injuries or other deformities persist. A person gets rid of them.
  • A very large amount of gas accumulates in the body of a person who dies.
  • People who committed suicide in order to get rid of the accumulated problems in the next world will still have to answer for this act and resolve all these problems.

Interesting stories about the afterlife

Some people who had to go through clinical death tell how they felt at that moment:

  1. The abbot of a Baptist Church in the United States had an accident. His heart stopped beating, and the ambulance even pronounced death. But when the police arrived, there was a parishioner among them who personally knew the abbot. He took the accident victim by the hand and said a prayer. After that, the abbot revived. He says that at the moment when the prayer was said over him, God told him that he should return to earth and finish worldly affairs that are important for the church.
  2. The builder Norman McTagert, who also worked at the construction site of a residential building in Scotland, once fell from a great height and fell into a coma, in which he stayed for 1 day. He said that, being in a coma, he visited the afterlife, where he communicated with his mother. It was she who informed him that he needed to return to earth, because very important news awaited him there. When the man came to his senses, his wife said she was pregnant.
  3. One of the Canadian nurses (her name, unfortunately, is unknown) told an amazing story that happened to her at work. During the night shift, a ten-year-old boy approached her and asked her to give it to his mother so that she would not worry about him, that everything was fine with him. The nurse began to chase after the child, who, after saying the words, began to run away from her. She saw how he ran into the house, so she began to knock on him. A woman opened the door. The nurse told her what she had heard, but the woman was extremely surprised, because her son could not leave the house because he was very ill. It turned out that the ghost of a child who had passed away came to the nurse.

Believe in these stories or not - everyone's personal business. However, one cannot be skeptical and deny the existence of something supernatural nearby. How, then, can be explained the dreams in which some people communicate with the dead. Their appearance often means something, portends. If a person communicates with the deceased in the first 40 days in a dream after death, this means that the spirit of this person really comes to him. He can tell him about everything that happens to him in the afterlife, ask for something and even call him with him.

Of course, in real life, each of us wants to think only about the pleasant, the good. It makes no sense to prepare for death, and think about it too, because it can come not when we planned it for ourselves, but when the person's hour comes. We wish you that your earthly life was full of joy and goodness! Do highly moral deeds so that the Almighty will reward you for this with a wonderful life in heavenly conditions in which you will be happy and peaceful.
