Welcome to the complete Shilen Knight guide!

Shilen Knights are dark elves (warriors) that can be selected after completing the class transfer quest at level 31. They specialize in swords and shields and wear heavy armor. Knights of Shilen - offensive tanks, breaking through enemy defenses and stealing his HP. Their buffs allow them to slow and cripple nearby enemies.

As a tank, Shilen Knight is inferior, but still has an impressive ability to deal damage and manipulate the mind. Compared with, it has slightly lower damage per second and better survivability. Dealing not as much damage per second as other members of the warrior class, Shilen Knight has at the same time balanced characteristics, thanks to which it is easy to use in all areas of the game.

Unlike human warriors, who rely mainly on brute force, the Knights of Shilen derive their "tank" abilities from the ability to steal HP, that is, they are healed by attacking the enemy. Thus, as tanks, they are inferior to human warriors, but they can deal more damage, which allows them to achieve greater success in automatic play.

PvEfor the Knights of Shilen, this is a simple matter, because thanks to such passive skills as Righteous anger and Improved Heist, they have a high survival rate. In conjunction with protective aura and Ultimate Protection this allows them to resist almost any ambush. Although it may take them longer to kill an enemy, some players prefer to ensure good survivability rather than risk playing characters as aggressive yet fragile asor.

However PvP, especially in the Arena, it can be more difficult for them, since the Knight of Shilen does not have the ability to deal damage in a burst, like rogues and some classes of warriors and mages. Therefore, it often makes sense to drag out battles against enemy tanks and each time change your playing style so as to effectively counter different types of opponents.

You will enjoy playing this character if you like to be an offensive melee tank, feeding on the health taken from the enemy.

Character Overview

Pros:

  • A strong tank with good taunts and defensive effects.
  • HP steal attacks (Life Leech and Improved Steal) greatly increase survivability.
  • Belonging to the Dark Elf race, Shilen Knight can deal more damage than any other tank in the game thanks to high innate attack and crit stats.
  • With good health stealing abilities, it can be used alone in autoplay mode. Compared to other tanks, he is easier to play in PvE.
  • Health Steal allows you to conserve HP potions; very economical class in terms of adena consumption.
  • One of the best mind control skills in the game, especially in massive PvP battles, is Chain Hydra.
  • The Shilen Knight skill set allows you to clear dungeons that require much more combat power than your current level for this indicator.
  • With the right selection of skills, Knight Shilen is equally good in PvP and PvE modes.

Minuses:

  • If you're looking for the ultimate siege tank, Shilen Knight isn't for you. They are often the first of the tanks to die in battle and never stay on the front line during the siege of a fortress.
  • It does not have ranged attacks, so other characters often finish off opponents wounded by it.
  • Belonging to the dark elf race, it has the lowest HP of all military classes. In general, it can be considered an offensive tank.

Priority of skills and their application

Before prioritizing, be sure to get level 1 of all skills (especially righteous anger and Improved Heist). In terms of damage output, Warrior Weapon Mastery, Chain Hydra, and Leech of Life will be the main ones. This is followed by defensive buffs and passive skills that provide survivability.

PvP skill set (Arena): Lunging Strike / Chain Hydra / Life Leech

Skill set for PvP (siege):

PvE skill set: Ultimate Defense / Hydra Chain / Life Leech

Application of specific skills

  • Righteous Wrath and Improved Theft are not listed among the priority skills, since the increase in their effectiveness is minimal with increasing levels. Leave their development for last.
  • It is better to pay maximum attention to the active skill Ultimate Defense. Combined with Protective Aura, it will help you survive even better.
  • The active skills Chain Hydra and Leech of Life are excellent splash damage and can be used in both PvP and PvE.
  • Also important for PvE is Ultimate Defense, which increases your survivability and slows down enemies, allowing you to shred them with your blows.
  • The main thing in PvP is to use mind control skills (Lunging Strike and Chain Hydra).
  • Warrior Weapon Mastery will increase your damage, while Light Armor Mastery and Defensive Aura will increase your survivability.

Main characteristics and priority of sub-characteristics

  • As a tank, you will need to get yourself some good heavy armor. (They should be of a high rank, level, and enchantment level. If possible, try to collect a rare set.)
  • Shilen Knights perform best as part of a group. As an offensive tank, you can taunt enemies with Chained Hydra, so that they attack you, thereby increasing the survivability of the group. The key to survival for you is the buffs associated with defense and HP steal.
  • In PvP encounters such as sieges and clan wars, force enemies to close in with Ultimate Defense. You can then knock them over using your active skills and maintain your health with the Leech of Life.
  • Burst attacks are good against mages and rogues. However, dealing with opponents of classes similar to yours, such as Spearmen, Knights of Eva, etc., will not be easy for you. At the same time, in a protracted battle, you can still win by manually dodging enemy attacks, and then choosing the moment when the enemy needs to recharge his skills.
  • You can only activate Soulshots for Active Skills to increase the amount of HP gained from HP Leech.
  • Before dealing damage to the enemy, it makes sense to incapacitate (stun or knock down). You have two mind control skills - Lunging Strike and Chain Hydra; use them carefully in PvP.
  • The best accessories for Shilen Knight are Black and Elven sets. As a melee warrior, you need a bonus to crit to increase your survivability. resistance that the Black set gives. If additional damage is required f. attacks and stun resistance, select the Elven set.
  • When attacking an enemy, do the following:
    • Chain Hydra > [IMMEDIATELY] Meteor Storm > Life Leech > Lunging Strike > [IMMEDIATELY] Flying Arrow.
    • Lunging Strike > [IMMEDIATELY] Meteor Storm > Leech of Life > Chain Hydra > [IMMEDIATELY] Flying Arrow.
  • When an enemy charges at you:
    • Chain Hydra > Leech of Life > [IMMEDIATELY] Flying Arrow and Meteor Shower > Lunging Strike > Normal Attacks.
    • [IMMEDIATELY] Flying Arrow and Meteor Shower > Chain Hydra > Life Leech > Lunging Strike > Normal Attacks.
  • From the rare skills in the PvP mode in the Arena, use the Flying Arrow and Meteor Storm. Healing Strike and Ultimate Shield are good in auto play mode.

The quest is taken at level 19 Sir Klaus Vasper, which stands on the central square of the village of Gludin.

(The essence of the quest is that six different NPCs give six tasks, after completing each of them you will receive a Coin of Lord coin, to get a profession it is enough to bring three coins to the starting NPC, that is, you can not do the whole quest, but only half, but I I will tell you about all the tasks).

He will send you to High Priestess Levian in Gludin's temple. Levian needs 20 pieces of Lizardman's Totem. We make a teleport to (from Gludin), run down the road and beat the first lizardmen we come across 16 and 17 levels. items and get coin of lord.

We go back to Forgotten Temple and run along the road now up the map to the Poison Spiders, knock out 20 items. You can combine these two tasks into one, first get both tasks, and then beat all the mobs. This will make it easier and faster.

We return to Gludin, turn in quest items, from each NPC we receive Coin of Lord.

Tpshimsya in Gludio, looking for Captain Bathis at the northern gate (these are the gates that lead to the castle). He needs 10 pieces of Bugbear Necklace. We leave through the southeastern gate and run to the side, halfway between it and the Gludio castle, where there is a stonehedge in the clearing, there will be Bugbear Raider mobs, we hit items, we return to the captain, we get another Coin of Lord.

Then we go to the Gludio temple to the NPC High Priest Raymond, his task is to knock out 12 items from mobs in the Ruins of Despier (tp from Gludio). The mob is called Undead Priest, quest, lvl 17, it is not in ruins, but further in the field behind the hill, see the map. When we beat everything, we hand over to Raymond.

Now our way to the starting village of people, to the High Priest Biotin in the temple of the Talking Island. You need to go to Elven Ruins and beat the Silent Horror mobs. Knock out 10 skulls. But it didn’t work out for me on the last server - I killed 100 mobs, not a single quest item dropped, I had to skip here. ATTENTION! If you have taken the fish nipples quest, it will prevent you from getting the Silent Horror item (thanks to L1ghtGiNgEr for clarification).

And the last NPC is Captain Gilbert at the northeast gate of the village. He needs to fill 20 items with giant spiders - rush to the waterfall and run past the NPC standing there to the western tip of the island - there are a lot of spiders, as many as three species, Blade Spider, Talon Spider and Giant Spider, the drop is not very, somewhere 1 of 3-4. As we fill, we go to get the last coin and return to the starting NPC.

I understand that for additional coins they give additional experience and SP.

We return to Gludin to Sir Klaus Vasper, hand over 3 coins and get a stamp Sword of Ritual.

We hand over the brand Grand Master Ramos in the Gludin gym and change the profession to Human Knight.

As soon as you reach level 35, YES go to do quests for the second profession.

Upon reaching level 31 elf warrior can choose one of two classes − Eva Knight(tank) or (dd). In this article, we will take a closer look at the class Eva Knight. He specializes in sword and shield. The class skills are described below, as well as the optimal skill build.

Active Skills

Tribunal

A wide swing that deals damage, stunning enemies and provoking them to attack. Stun Effect Duration - 2 seconds. A vital skill for team play when you need to aggro mobs on yourself to distract them from your under-protected DPS class.

Grace of Eve

Consecrates part of the playing field, dealing damage to enemies within it and reducing their health regeneration rate. The skill reduces the health regeneration rate of enemies by 50%, allowing you to destroy them faster. This skill will be very useful during the war against another clan that has a Healer.

Aegis Fighting Stance

Gives immunity to damage for a short time (duration - 5 seconds) and increases movement speed. A very important skill, given that the level of health and protection of the Knight of Eve is insufficient compared to other races. The Aegis Fighting Stance buff is most effective when using Tribunal (provoking enemy attacks). All this will allow you to protect your team from damage by aggroing enemies on yourself.

Passive Skills

Evasion Eldelin(Elven Dodge)

When attacking, you gain a 15% chance to dodge. This skill helps Knight to tank without dying, despite her relatively weak survivability.

Parry: Mastery(Parry Mastery)

Increases shield damage and shield defense; increases the strength of the defense. With a weak level of protection and health, for the Knight of Eva, this skill is fundamental. You gain a small chance to reduce your damage and increase your base defense.

Righteous anger(Ultimate Hate)

Increases damage dealt to an enemy, reduces damage dealt to you, and gives a chance to aggro enemies when attacking. Elves have high attack intensity. This passive maintains the level of damage you deal, speeding up the character leveling process. By reducing the damage you take, this passive improves your ability to tank. The chance to taunt enemies also helps you become a more effective tank in team play.

Protective aura(Defense Aura)

Boosts your defense and that of the team in the water play area, maintaining survivability in team play.

Warrior Passive Skills

Icon Name Description
Light Elf Potential Maneuvering movements allow you to increase the level of evasion from enemy attacks.
Warrior Weapon: Mastery Increased attack when using a sword and shield, spear or dual swords.
Heavy Armor: Mastery Reduced damage taken when using heavy armor. The effect stacks up to 4 times.

First of all, it is strongly recommended to pump your passive skills, in priority to active ones. Make sure you download not only Warrior Weapon: Mastery Heavy Armor: Mastery(Heavy Armor Mastery). Invest one skill point into Evasion Eldelin(Elven Dodge) Parry: Mastery(Parry Mastery)and Righteous anger(Ultimate Hate), since they give a good boost (start) on the First Level. However, these skills are not as effective at later levels. Therefore, the optimal sequence for pumping by priority is Warrior Weapon: Mastery(Warrior Weapon Mastery), but also Heavy Armor: Mastery(Heavy Armor Mastery), accompanied by Parry: Mastery(Parry Mastery)and Righteous anger(Ultimate Hate) and Evasion Eldelin(Elven Dodge).

As for Active Skills, you should invest one point in each of them before continuing to level. Aegis Battle Stance, since the immunity that the latter gives is very strong.

How good is Eva Knight in Lineage 2: Revolution?

Elf's skill set replenishes her low defense and health. In team play, the elf is superior to ranged masters such as the Mage or the Archer, as she is able to aggro enemy mobs on herself. This allows ranged players to deal maximum damage without worrying about survival.

Eva Knight is also a great choice in the Arena, thanks to the Aegis Fighting Stance skill, which grants immunity to damage. In the first few seconds in the Arena, the enemy is prone to aggressive and fast combat. By using the Aegis Fighting Stance, you will be able to deflect more damage and have a better chance of winning the fight.

In terms of solo play, the Eva Knight can have a hard time surviving the tougher bosses, though this weakness is made up for by her ability to deal significant damage. This suggests the importance of using skills in a timely manner to reduce damage, i.e. do your best to avoid auto-combat with certain bosses.

Output by class:

  • Damage - not bad;
  • Survivability is not bad;
  • Very mobile AOE tank with 5 seconds of immortality, good in mass PVP (sieges, capturing points);
  • HOLDS AGRO VERY BAD.

If you want to know more about other classes, we recommend that you look at the section.
