Introduction

One-handed and two-handed weapons

In pumping weapon skills, the main thing to know is that the calculation is not based on the number of hits, but on the amount of damage dealt. Therefore, it is best to pump with weapons with high damage, and on enemies with a lot of HP - trolls, giants, mammoths, etc.

We will start with alchemy, and for this reason: in the game, the buildup of this skill seemed to me
the most consignment due to a number of factors.

1. The first and main factor - You can’t pump much skill with simple potions.

With simple potions, you can pump the skill for a very long time, since in the mechanics of the game, leveling a skill does not depend on quantity, but on quality. Let's say the ability to wear heavy or light armor does not depend on how many times you were kicked, but how much damage this blow inflicted on you.

Banal Magic Regeneration Potion (Salt + Garlic)

after creation, it will increase the existing level of alchemy, well, somewhere by 1-3% of the strip.

While a complex potion that has a bunch of parameters (by the way, both negative and positive)

for one bank can increase the existing level by about 10-15% of the strip.

Another omission in the game is that side effects- unnecessary alchemical effects only increase the cost of the potion. Although, logically, a poison that simultaneously deals damage and heals it is complete nonsense, but this nonsense will cost more than a poison that deals damage and takes away magic, for example.

I think you will immediately see that complex potions are much more expensive than simple potions.
Since the leveling of alchemy directly depends on the quality of the potions, I will immediately answer your question:
- Yes, if you put on things for a bonus to the creation of potions, then the cost of the created potions will increase greatly, but, alas, this will hardly affect the leveling of the skill.

Here is the cost of the crafted potion without items that give a bonus to the power of crafted potions.

And here is the cost of the created potion brewed in things that give a bonus to the strength of the created potions.

2. The second factor, following from the first - to create complex potions, you need to have a lot of different ingredients available.

Therefore, we corny accumulate all the fly agarics that we collect, all the fingers of the giants, all the eggs. We save everything, everything that can be collected, stolen, bought! Yes, buy, so you need to earn sevenths. (Fortunately, this is not a problem in Skyrim)

3. The third factor - with an increase in skill in Alchemy, pumping begins to slow down.

This is expressed as follows, if with an alchemy skill of 25 you make a potion - Magic Regeneration (Salt + Garlic) and you need to make 10 cans to raise from 25 to 26, then to raise from 30 to 31 you already make 13 cans.
In view of what I downloaded alchemy in three steps:
From 1 to 40, you can pump through the creation of simple potions.
From 40 to 70-80 he studied the mind of the mind from Arcadia, in Whiterun. In parallel, he collected, bought, stole tons of ingredients.
Where all the teachers of alchemy live, I don’t remember, and it’s not necessary, just look here.
From 80 to 100 he pumped exclusively by creating complex poisons and potions.

Whoever does not “fumble” in alchemy, I will conduct a master class.
Let's all look here

I'll show you with an example what's what.
See the table here.
We look at what we have in inventory and select an ingredient, say Dragon Tongue. We select on the plate the property we like - Fire Resistance and Skill Up: two-handed weapons.
Now we are looking for an ingredient that has these properties, plus some other positive properties. (possible and negative) Let there be a fly agaric - our potion will have two properties. Now we need to add such an ingredient in order to “open” a couple more properties for the potion. Let's see what properties Amanita has? are Frenzy and Stamina Regeneration.
Again, we are looking for an ingredient in the table that has these two properties ... yeah, this is Mora tapinella.
As a result, we get this potion:

The cost of the potion, as well as its power, will depend on the abilities taken in the Alchemy skill tree at the time the potion was created and on the bonus that enchanted things give us.

Basic Required Abilities in Alchemy

Alchemist 5/5- (Potions and potions are 20% stronger (+20% for each additional ability level) - well, a good potion is a strong potion.
Healer- (Your potions that restore health, magicka or stamina are 25% more effective) - a passable ability to take the next ability.
Pharmacist- (You can create potions that will have 25% more favorable effect)
As you can see, I took only the most necessary abilities to enhance the potions I received.

It is pumped very easily, on the spell "". Just use it and that's it.

Witchcraft

Also, do not forget to buy a pickaxe from him - useful for mining ore.

Ore mining
In your travels, mainly in various dungeons, you will encounter various "veins", for example, "Iron Ore Vein", using this stone, if you have a pickaxe with you, your character will work a little and get some ore, and possibly some gem:

After that, the ore must be smelted in the smelter. One of them can be found in Whiterun, on the right immediately at the entrance to the city:

Or a weapon with such an effect.

With such a weapon, our victim should be finished off, inflicting the last or penultimate blow on her.
Then we go to the merchant, we buy soul stones from him, some will already be filled, while we will fill others during the game.
If you don't already have a few thousand septims, then it will be enough to buy the smallest soul stones.
For fastidious players who don't want to trap tiny souls in large soul gems, here's a rough list of soul gem sizes and creatures to fill them with.

After filling the soul stones, after several hours of cleansing and passing, we need to find somewhere or buy from a merchant a weapon with one of the following effects: Exile, Absorption of health, Scaring away the undead, Fear.
Exile

These are some of the most lucrative weapon effects.
For things, the most profitable is " Skill Upgrade: Stealth»
The cost of an enchanted item depends on the effect applied to it.
But! Here it is worth clarifying a couple of nuances that you will encounter when enchanting things:

For things, the effect will depend, first of all, on the size of the stone! When using a tiny stone, the effect will be 3%, and when using a great 30%
The cost of such an item will fluctuate greatly, as it greatly depends on the size of the soul gem you use.
For weapons, the strength of the effect depends only on our level of enchantment skill and the abilities taken. The charge will depend on the size of the stone. The charge slightly affects the final cost of the item.
The effect will play the main role in the cost of weapons.
Above, I have listed the four most profitable weapon enchantment effects.

The most profitable is the enchantment of weapons- even when using tiny soul stones, the cost of the item increases significantly.

Basic Required Abilities in the Enchantment Skill

Enchanter 5/5- (New enchantments are 20% stronger (+20% per additional level))
Skill Enchantment- (Enchant Armor 25% stronger)
Life Enchantment- (Enchant health, mana and stamina on armor 25% stronger)
Additional effect- (You can put two enchantments on one item)

stealth

It is pumped when you move around other NPCs in a state of stealth. There is an opinion that the more NPCs in a certain radius, the better it is pumped. The easiest way - in some city, rest against the fence, and put something heavy on the "W" button

  • Remember that the higher your skill, the more powerful opponents you will come across on your travels.

Skyrim (the continuation of the legendary Oblivion series) features an adventure world filled with combat, exploration, and magic. The ability to make a variety of potions and potions will come to the aid in the craft of a dragon slayer.

The player is given the opportunity to develop his character in the alchemical business. Getting the next level in the talent branches, skill points can be obtained not only by improving combat skills, but also by pumping alchemy. Asking yourself how to quickly pump alchemy in skyrim? This is possible if you follow certain rules.
You can quickly improve your skill, but only using cheats. In this case, in the console, you need to increase the level of Dovakin, and use skill points for the desired section.

As you progress through the game, you can start brewing potions already in Whiterun. Immediately after talking with the jarl, you will meet the court magician. In his room you can find the necessary equipment or go to local shops.
The unique skill leveling system will not give a list of ready-made recipes; All ingredients must be mixed by yourself. Only then will you be able to develop the skill and gain new abilities.

Skill Leveling Principles

A large supply of herbs will help create a large number of tinctures, due to the manufacture of which this skill increases. You will need absolutely all the supplies: fingers of giants, wings of moths, spider venom, fly agaric and buttercups. They can be found in caves, picked up from a dead enemy, or bought from a merchant.

Special books with alchemy can increase the skill, which can be found randomly throughout the location. How to quickly pump alchemy in skyrim? Quests that you can get by exploring the game world will help. When going for a certain ingredient, your mentors (who can be found in schools) will indicate a good place to collect components for potions.

A special set of clothes and accessories enchanted to increase alchemy will increase the existing skill by a certain number of units, as well as increase the cost of prepared potions.

Simple potions with multiple components will increase the level by a small percentage. To create a complex potion, you need many components, often rare, but the amount of experience gained will be much higher. The specificity of the classification of elixirs is that not all of them have a positive effect. Some of the potions can reduce skill, agility or the number of lives, but their cost is an order of magnitude higher than usual, as is the complexity of creation, which is responsible for experience.

It is important to correctly throw points into the talent tree.

The first link "Alchemist" is filled by 5/5 by default, without it the ability will not develop further. The "Healer" cell will help you create more effective potions for health. In the fight against different opponents, you need a transitional link. Pharmacist will allow you to create elixirs 25% better than the previous ones, which have the most positive effect.

As the skill grows, you will need to make more and more potions, so it's best to follow a similar plan:
1. You can upgrade a profession to a level from 1 to 40 on the simplest two-element potions.
2. To increase a skill from level 40 to level 80, you need to use more complex recipes from a large set of components. To develop skills, we ask for help from trainers, for example, from Arkady who lives in Whiterun.

There are teachers in almost all big cities.

3. A skill from 80 to 100 is stuffed on potions that immediately give positive and negative effects (or that contain poisons).
Having a maximum of ingredients with you, you can pump alchemy in an honest way as quickly as possible.

Alchemy will be useful for a character of any bias. In most cases, the most basic one will be enough - a potion to restore health, magic or stamina, and poisons will allow the weapon to deal more damage. With a deeper understanding of the properties of the ingredients, you will be able to brew potions that mimic the effects of many (though not all) magical spells and enchantments. Although you can see various potions for sale, knowledge of alchemy will provide you with the ability to create more powerful potions than purchased ones.

Making potions

Alchemy in Skyrim can only be practiced in specially designed and equipped places for this - alchemy labs (Alchemy Labs). To create a potion or poison, you must combine two or more ingredients that have the same magical effects. If their common property is useful (for example, restoring health), then you will create a potion, if it is negative (for example, damage to health), then you will get poison. Potions with multiple effects can be created by mixing ingredients with more than one effect.

Each ingredient has a total of four effects. Eating an ingredient always unlocks its first property, taking the Experimenter perk allows you to discover the rest of the properties when consumed, depending on the rank of the perk (see the perk table below). Effects can also be revealed through experimentation if the combination of ingredients successfully creates a potion. When you select one ingredient, all others that you previously tried to combine it with and failed at the same time will be displayed in gray. Unlike Oblivion, here your character's Alchemy level does not affect which effects can be unlocked and used.

The amount of Alchemy skill, alchemy perks, and the skill gain from equipping enchanted items determines the power of any potion or poison your character creates. In turn, the practice of mixing potions and poisons causes an increase in the Alchemy skill.

You can brew potions from recipes found in the game, or simply combine different ingredients randomly. In addition, you can look around carefully and find something in common between the ingredients - plants growing close to each other often have similar effects (for example, purple ermine and thistle, lavender and red ermine), as well as insects that feed on flower nectar. In addition, the arrangement of ingredients side by side on kitchens, counters, and lab benches usually indicates that they go well together.

Alchemy perks

The Alchemy perk tree consists of 9 perks, requiring a total of 15 perk points. The perks of this skill allow you to unlock more effects when eating ingredients, increase the effectiveness of crafted potions and poisons, remove positive effects from poisons and negative effects from potions, in addition, collect twice as many ingredients from plants.

In Skyrim, a character at any level of the Alchemy skill can brew a potion from any ingredients, however, the full disclosure of all the properties of the ingredients is possible only with the "Experimenter" perk. This means revealing honestly in the game, without using third-party tips like this one ;) The trial and error method will allow you to open the rare and most powerful effects only after a lot of effort and spending ingredients.

The Herbalist perk allows you to collect additional ingredients from all plants (with the exception of plants of the roots of Nirn), from clusters of sea acorns, from nests with bird eggs, but not from various creatures, including passive ones (fish, butterflies, bees, dragonflies , fireflies, birds).

Those who are very interested in increasing the strength of mixed potions and poisons should definitely take the following perks - "Alchemist" from 1st to 5th ranks, "Healer", "Pharmacist" and "Poisoner". At the same time, having items enchanted to increase the Alchemy skill will become an additional plus to the above perks. And if your character actively uses poisons in battles, then the Concentrated Poison perk will also come in handy.

Note: prior to the release of the official patch 1.9, the Purity perk did not require the Snake Blood perk, it was necessary to take the Experimenter perk. In patch 1.9.26.0.8, this bug was fixed, now the "Experimenter" perk is not needed to get the "Purity" perk, the development proceeds according to the perk tree (see the figure on the right).

Potions Cost and Experience Gained

The increase in experience when practicing Alchemy proportionally depends on the cost of the created potion, that is, the more expensive the potion is, the more experience the character will get. The amount of experience gained is very well affected by increasing the skill of equipping enchanted things (it is possible to put on the character as much as possible: gloves, headdress, ring and amulet). So, +100% to Alchemy means getting XP for each potion brewed twice as much as usual. Therefore, it is worth pumping the Enchantment skill for a start in order to acquire enchanted gizmos. You should also take the perks "Alchemist", "Healer", "Pharmacist" and "Poisoner" early, as soon as it becomes possible.

The most expensive effects (when using common ingredients) are Paralysis, Magic Damage, Invisibility, and Slow. However, potions with a large number of different effects can be more valuable in terms of gold than potions with one expensive effect. It is also necessary to take into account the fact that some special ingredients can be used to create potions with exactly the same effects, but with much greater power and cost. For example, a Giant's Finger produces a Health Boost Potion that costs 5.9 times more than other ingredients with the same effect. Such a health boost potion is more valuable than a paralysis potion. The most expensive potions you can create:

With a giant's finger:

Bearded Moss + Bear Claws + Giant's Finger or Blue Butterfly Wing + Blue Mountain Flower + Giant's Finger

Without a giant's finger:

Glowing Dust + Glowing Mushroom + Bearded Moss or Creeping Vine + Big Horns + Betta Fish

Special Ingredients

Some ingredients have magical effects with non-standard magnitude values, respectively, they produce unusual potions in terms of strength and cost. For example:

  • Betta Fish (2.5 x Magnitude): Health damage potions crafted with these fish will be 2.5 times stronger.
  • Nirn Root (12.6 x Value): Health damage potions mixed with Nirn Roots will cost 12.6 times as much.

When using non-standard ingredients in potion brewing, the potion's final potency and cost is determined by the ingredient's highest priority. In the list below, the ingredients are listed in descending order of priority, so the top one always determines the properties of the resulting potion. That is, if you combine a fighting fish and nirn root, then a potion from them will have exactly the same properties as a potion created from a fighting fish and a poisonous bell or a fighting fish and a Falmer ear. Reduced magnitude ingredients such as Ectoplasm and Nightshade (Skill Up: Destruction) only have an effect when combined with the same reduced magnitude ingredient. Ectoplasm combined with any ingredient other than nightshade produces a standard Destruction boost potion.

  • Cure Disease:
    • Roasted Skeever Hide - 0.36 x Value;
    • Hawk Feathers - 0.36 x Value;
  • Damage Health:
    • Jarrin Root - 100 x Magnitude
    • Fighting fish (River Betty) - 2.5 x Magnitude;
    • Nirnroot - 12.6 x Value;
    • Poison bell (Deathbell) - 1.5 x Magnitude;
  • Stamina Damage (Damage Stamina):
    • Crimson Nirnroot - 3 x Magnitude
  • Skill Upgrade: Fortify Block:
    • Briar Heart - 0.5 x Magnitude;

Quick Alchemy Skill Leveling

In your list of available ingredients, find a pair that matches the most profitable and most expensive effect (you can use the alchemy calculator to select skyrimalchemy). Try to avoid rare ingredients or those that you will need later (for example, with Enchanting or Blacksmithing boost effect). Match the third matching ingredient to match another additional effect, and brew the potions.

There is no need to think about what ingredients to buy, it is best to buy all the ingredients in any alchemy shop, except for the most expensive ones (Daedra hearts, frost salts, void salts), since the money made from selling ready-made potions will allow you to sweep everything off the shelves the ingredients that merchants have, and all the gold from their pockets too (stocks of ingredients in alchemy shops and gold from merchants are replenished every 48 hours). Thus, the secret is simple - buy and collect various ingredients and create all kinds of potions to maximize XP.

Done Alchemy guide in WOW Battle for Azeroth: how to level up Alchemy 1-800, what recipes to use, how to save money during leveling, where to get tasks for alchemists.

Specializations

Upon reaching profession skill level 475, alchemists become available to choose a specialization: potions, elixirs or infusions. By choosing one of the specializations, you will get some chance to create 2-5 units of the corresponding product (potions/flasks/elixirs) instead of one.

In patch 4.3, the choice of specializations has changed somewhat. Now, in order to choose a specialization, 475+ alchemists must complete the task from the profession teacher: Yelmak (Horde) / Lylyssia Nightbreeze (Alliance). The tasks are quite simple - you just need to bring a few prepared potions, infusions or elixirs to the teacher.

Darkmoon Fair

The new Darkmoon Faire allows you to quickly level up 5 points of Alchemy by completing a small task for a profession. The Dark Moon Fair takes place over the course of a week, starting on the first Sunday of the month. On it, alchemists can complete the task Bubble Cocktail. However, by and large, there are no very difficult stages in leveling a profession, so visiting the fair for the sake of +5 points can be considered doubtful.

Alchemy 1-800

1-300

630-700 (any of the recipes):

These recipes require 5 Alchemy Catalysts + 1 Alchemy Catalyst. Magic element + the same ordinary infusion(which did at step 600-630). The recipe costs 5 Secrets of Draenic Alchemy , so it's wise to study the same flask you've made before.

Leveling in the Legion

In Legion, it is now possible to upgrade a profession with only 0 Legion recipes - this allows you to avoid the long and tedious crafting of many classic recipes, BC, etc.

1-700

For comfortable leveling with Legion recipes, you need to be level 100+.

To get started, visit Alchemy Trainer Dekus Valdera in Dalaran. If you don't know where to find him, just ask the guards where the alchemy teacher is.

1-4
Right after you have learned Alchemy, you can start the Cool Blend quest given by Dekus Valdera. The reward for completing this quest is Legion Alchemist . Be sure to complete this task before you start leveling the profession.

To craft the potions needed to complete the quest, you will need 9x Seed of Ysera. Recipes and empty bottles can be purchased from Patricia Egan, who is located in the same place as Dekus Valdera.

4–236
232x Ancient Healing Potion - 928x Seed of Ysera

Don't forget to buy the tier 2 recipe for this potion from Patricia! Level 3 will open on its own during potion making. Do not sell or throw away prepared potions, they will be useful to you later.

236–468
232x Ancient Mana Potion - 1160x Seed of Ysera

Do not destroy these potions either, they will be useful for the next recipe.

468–700 or 650–700
232x Ancient Rejuvenation Potion – 232x Ancient Healing Potion, 232x Ancient Mana Potion

If you started leveling at 650, then it's time to complete the quest mentioned in section 1 - 4, and then prepare 16x Ancient Healing Potions, 16x Ancient Mana Potions, and 16x Ancient Rejuvenation Potions. All this will require 144x Seed of Ysera.

700 – 800

If you plan to create an Infernal Alchemist Stone, then it’s better to wait until you have 739 skill points, then feel free to start making an accessory - this way you will immediately get 5 skill points.

All Legion recipes are sold by the already familiar Patricia Egan.

700–740
40x Ancient Healing Potion (Tier 3) – 160x Seed of Ysera

Please note that this is a level 3 recipe, the early levels are useless at this stage.

New alchemy recipes can be unlocked through quests from Dekus Valdera. To unlock the recipes mentioned below, you need to be level 110. Flask recipes become available after completing the Calibration Check quest, and Patricia Egan will also sell them.

740–761
While making tier 2 potions, you will most likely unlock the next tier 3 recipes automatically.

After you learn level 1 of any flask, 3 tasks will open for you, the passage of which will bring you recipes for flasks of level 2.

Recipe: Flask of the Seventh Demon (Lv. 2) can be obtained from Cordana Felsong in Vault of the Guardians Heroic Difficulty. The rest of the recipes are commercially available.

Choose one of the recipes available to you and start making infusions (choose only one of the suggested ones):

  • 7x Flask of Ten Thousand Scars (Tier 2) - 49x Starry Rose, 70x Aithril, 70x Dreamleaf
  • 7x Flask of Countless Armies (Tier 2) – 49x Starry Rose, 70x Aithril, 70x Foxflower
  • 7x Flask of Secret Covenant (Tier 2) - 49x Starry Rose, 70x Fjarnskaggl, 70x Dreamleaf
  • 7x Flask of the Seventh Demon (Tier 2) – 49x Starry Rose, 70x Fjarnskaggl, 70x Foxflower

If you have already discovered the recipe for any level 3 flask, you can craft it up to 780 skill points. If not, then keep creating flasks until you unlock level 3. Getting to level 3 depends on luck - you might get lucky and unlock it at the tenth flask you made, or you could make a hundred while staying at level 2 of the recipe.

7x Any Flask Level 3 - 14x Star Rose, 28x Some Herb, 28x Some Herb

The type of herb used depends on the recipe.

The only way to max out alchemy is to create tier 3 flasks. These recipes will turn yellow between 780 and 790, green between 790 and 800. For the final step, you will need to make about 40 flasks, but again, the amount will depend on your luck.

40x Any Flask lvl.3 – 280x Starry Rose, 400x Some Herb, 400x Some Herb

Again, the type of herb used will depend on the recipe chosen.

Note: Goblins have a +15 racial advantage to Alchemy, so this part will be much easier for them.

Leveling Alchemy in Battle for Azeroth (1-150)

Compiled a guide for leveling Alchemy in the Battle for Azeroth. In this guide, you will find the fastest and cheapest way to fully upgrade Alchemy in BFA.

Alchemy pairs best with Herbalism. By combining these professions, you can save a huge amount of gold, because herbalists have the opportunity to farm all the resources necessary for Alchemy. If you don't have Herbalism, make sure you have enough gold to buy various herbs, as you will need quite a lot of them.

Studying a profession in BFA

There are two versions of Alchemy for different factions:

  • Kul Tiran Alchemy for the Alliance.
  • Zandalari alchemy for the Horde.

The only difference between professions is their name.

Alchemy teacher:

  • Clever Kumali in Dazar'alor at Artisan's Terrace. (Horde).
  • Elric Volgrin in Boralus at the Market of the Seven Winds (Alliance).

You can approach the guards in Boralus or Dazar'alor and ask them where the Alchemy teacher is. A marker will appear on your map, which will indicate the location of the desired NPC.

How to upgrade 1-150

  • 20 Coastal Healing Potions - 140 pts Siren pollen.
  • 20 Coastal Mana Potions - 140 pts River peas.
