Potatoes go well with saury, it is with them that salads with fish are most often prepared. Here's an example of a delicious and satisfying canned saury salad with potatoes and cucumbers. Prepare it for a holiday or on weekdays and treat your loved ones and friends.

Saury salad with potatoes

Ingredients:

  • saury canned in oil 1 can
  • potatoes 4 pcs.
  • pickled cucumbers 2 pcs.
  • eggs 3 pcs.
  • mayonnaise 2 tbsp l.
  • greenery
  • salt pepper

Cooking method: Boil potatoes in their skins, cool, peel, cut into thin slices. Hard-boiled eggs, cool, peel, chop coarsely. Cut the cucumbers into thin slices. Combine the ingredients, salt and pepper to taste, mix thoroughly. Put the resulting mixture in a salad bowl, put pieces of fish on top, pour with mayonnaise, sprinkle with chopped herbs.

One of my favorite salads with canned saury is the rice and corn salad. The salad looks very festive, it is easy to prepare it, with a pleasant taste - just what you need for a festive feast.

Salad with canned saury and rice

Ingredients:

  • saury canned in oil 1 can
  • rice 100 g
  • onions 1 pc.
  • pickled cucumber 1 pc.
  • canned corn 100 g.
  • tomatoes 1 pc.
  • greens 25 g.
  • mayonnaise 100 ml.

Cooking method: Boil rice until tender, put in a colander and cool. Cut the cucumber and onion into cubes, the tomato into thin slices. Dry the fish, remove bones, chop with a fork. Layer rice, fish, cucumber with onions, corn, tomato in a flat salad bowl. Grease each layer with mayonnaise. Sprinkle the prepared salad with chopped herbs.

You can also make an exotic salad from saury, for example, with beef brains. At first glance, incompatible products, but they made great friends in this salad.

Canned saury salad with brains

Ingredients:

  • saury canned in oil 1 can
  • beef brains 300 g.
  • carrots 1 pc.
  • onions 1 pc.
  • pickled cucumbers 2 pcs.
  • eggs 2 pcs.
  • mayonnaise 100 g.
  • lemon 1 pc.
  • greenery

Cooking method: Dry the fish, remove bones, chop with a fork. Wash the brains thoroughly, add water acidified with lemon juice and stand for 2 hours. Without removing from the water, peel from the film, and then pour cold acidified water and boil until tender, along with carrots, onions and the remaining lemon juice. Cook over low heat with a barely noticeable boil. Cool the prepared brains and cut into small cubes. Hard-boiled eggs, cool, peel, cut into cubes. Cut the cucumbers in the same way. Combine the ingredients, season with mayonnaise, mix gently. Decorate the prepared salad with herbs.

Peel and core the apple, grate on a coarse grater. Cut the onion into thin rings. Combine the ingredients, season with mayonnaise and mix thoroughly. Decorate the prepared salad with herbs.
