If you have absolutely no time for creativity - there is no time to invent drawings and patterns, you can simply buy special stickers. All of them are bright and beautiful, some with faces of saints, animals and birds - an option for children. There are pictures that will give Easter eggs a painted look - the choice depends on your preferences. How to put stickers on Easter eggs? Find out today.

Will be needed
- medium sized eggs,
- stickers, according to the number of eggs.

How to cook with photos step by step

Keep in mind that the size of the stickers is standard, but the eggs can be very large. Small eggs are fine, but the stickers can crumple into an accordion, which won’t look very nice.

Before you apply Easter stickers, the eggs need to be hard-boiled. Cut the strip of stickers along the dividing lines. Place each piece on the egg, making sure it’s even. Otherwise, when the picture is pasted, it will turn out crooked, and in order to redo it, you will have to remove it and repeat the whole procedure again.

Pour about a liter of water into a bowl and bring to a boil. Take a tablespoon or even larger, place the egg with the sticker and carefully lower it into boiling water. The heat will cause the cellophane to shrink into the shape of an egg.

After wiping with a towel, you can immediately serve Easter eggs to the table. To make them look even brighter and more beautiful, you can pre-color them in any color, using dyes or improvised means (beets, blue cabbage, etc.).
This activity can be entrusted even to children, but preferably those of school age, since there will be close contact with boiling water. The only inconvenience is that when peeling the egg you have to pry off the cellophane sticker with a knife, then it will easily tear. That is, during the festive meal, it is advisable to have something spicy on hand.
Happy Easter!

If you don’t like to draw, have forgotten what it’s like to hold a brush in your hands, and certainly don’t want to deal with wax, which is necessary for complex techniques for painting eggs (pysanky) - don’t despair. After all, there are many other easier, but no less beautiful ways.

1. Painting with stickers
To create such a fun painting, glue stickers of different shapes onto unpainted eggs and dip them in paint (read how to make natural paint). After the eggs are painted, let them dry and carefully remove the stickers.

2. Wide elastic bands
Want to give your decor a modern twist? Wrap the eggs with thick rubber bands and dip them in bright colors. After you remove the elastic bands, graphic stripes will remain on the eggs (the color of the stripes depends on the natural color of the egg).

3. Flower applique
Paint the eggs in bright colors and stick small plain flowers on them.

4. Dotted decor
Take some pencils with erasers at the end. Dip a pencil into the paint and apply dots with it. The eraser can be rinsed with water before changing colors, or you can use each pencil for a different color.

5. Toothpick instead of brush
Choose 2 colors to decorate each egg. Draw the middle of the flower with one color, and the petals with the other. Apply the paint with a toothpick (tilting it slightly towards the egg to create strokes)

6. Confetti
If you have leftover confetti from New Year's, use it to decorate eggs! Flowers, stripes, circles - all these patterns can be reproduced using small circles.

7. Thin elastic bands
Wrap the eggs with thin rubber bands (so that the circles are parallel to each other). First place the eggs in one of the colors (for example yellow). Next, use 4 rubber bands and place them in a new color (purple), then add 4 more rubber bands and dip the eggs in the main color (blue) again. This way, the egg will have thin rings of different colors (in our case, it is a blue egg with yellow and purple stripes).

8. Glitter
If you have glitter and love everything sparkly, this easy method is made for you. Dilute the glue with water, completely dip the egg in this mixture, and then roll it in the glitter. You can use either plain sparkles for one egg or multi-colored ones. We do not recommend eating such eggs (the sparkles will get on the whites), but you can safely decorate the interior with them.

You can also cover with glue only the part of the egg where you want the glitter to stick. Apply patterns with a brush with glue, and then roll them in glitter.

9. Thermal stickers
This method has been in first place among housewives for several years. Thermal stickers are beautiful and very easy to decorate eggs with. True, removing the shell from such an egg is very problematic, so it is better to use it as decoration. Buy special stickers (before Easter they are sold in any supermarket), place the egg inside the sticker, dip the egg in boiling water for a few seconds - and the sticker will stick tightly around the egg.

Easter egg stickers have recently almost completely replaced other methods of decoration. Easter eggs and painted eggs are an integral attribute of the Orthodox Easter holiday. They were exchanged with people dear to their hearts, thus wishing happiness, prosperity and longevity. Decorating Easter eggs has become the main process of preparation for the holiday of the Resurrection of Christ.

Decorating eggs for Easter has a rich history. Initially, they were painted red, which symbolized the blood of Christ. Later they began to use other colors. Due to the fact that the Resurrection of Christ was considered the most important day of the year for Christian believers, the attributes of this holiday began to take on a bright and sublime form, penetrating deeply into the culture of the people.

There are many ways to decorate Easter eggs. The most important and common thing is to decorate them entirely in different colors. The easiest way to do this is to use natural food colors purchased at the store. But our ancestors did not have this opportunity, so the Easter egg was boiled in onion skins, in an infusion of turmeric, and colored with beetroot juice or strong brewed black tea.

If ready-made paints are re-processed in a different solution with the addition of sunflower oil, the surface of the shell will acquire a marble color.

Painting looks very elegant, on which, after applying the color, an ornament is drawn and scratched out using a needle or a stationery knife.

Decoration of the Easter symbol is also created using paper, threads, lace, etc. Anything that imagination and skills allow is possible.

The most difficult way to decorate is to create Easter eggs. During this process, designs were applied with wax and then painted. The more repetitions you make using different colors, the more beautiful the product will turn out in the end. At the same time, the ornament that was used to decorate Easter eggs was attributed over time to different regions, carrying not just a symbolic, but also a cultural heritage.

How to stick an Easter sticker?

Bright Easter eggs can be created without any special skills or time. Recently introduced special stickers can help with this. so diverse that sometimes it is simply impossible to stop at just one thing. These can be icons, landscapes, ornaments, even children's motifs.

Before using the stickers, you need to hard boil the eggs. It is advisable to choose them the same size, so the decoration will look even more beautiful. You can also treat the surface of the shell with dyes.

Then you need to carefully and evenly put on a round piece of oilcloth and repeat the procedure with all the eggs. How correctly and beautifully the sticker covers the shell directly depends on the diligence. Although, if appearance does not come first, you can entrust this process even to a small child.

Then the workpieces are dipped into pre-prepared boiling water. The oilcloth shrinks under the influence of high temperature, envelops the shell, and the boundary between the sticker and the surface becomes almost invisible. After the eggs have cooled, they can be prepared for consecration in the church or served on the table.

A huge disadvantage of this decoration is that it is almost impossible to tear the glued oilcloth with your hands. To do this, you need to use something sharp, so it is recommended to serve such delicacies in places where a knife is within reach.

Decorative Easter eggs

There are several ways to do it yourself for Easter. Decorative Easter eggs and painted eggs, which can be stored for a long time, have a very important place in this. They are mainly made from empty eggshells or wooden blanks.

The latter can be purchased at a hobby and craft store. They are decorated with paints, appliqués are glued on, and covered with threads. Basically, decorating Easter eggs of this type is very attractive to children, because there are no special requirements, and the flight of imagination is not limited. Decorative Easter eggs made from wooden blanks can be stored forever, and the individual ornament has a memorable function for the family.

To prepare an egg for creating a decorative pysanka or painted egg, you need to empty it. To do this, pierce 2 holes in the shell, and then blow out the yolk and white. Then the shell is dried and work begins.

Nowadays, decorating Easter eggs using the decoupage technique is very widely used. For this, napkins with various patterns are used. This technique involves transferring a design onto the shell by gluing paper. Due to the thinness of the paper base, when gluing a pattern cut from such a napkin, the ornament fits tightly to the surface and looks very beautiful.

You can also decorate Easter paints using threads, paper and beads. You can even decorate them with a mosaic of multi-colored eggshells. Every year, new inventions of resourceful housewives are added to the already invented methods.

After the decor or design is applied, a long thread is threaded through the holes, which will allow you to hang the pysanka as a talisman. Such products are stored in the house as carefully as possible.

I would like to remind you that decorating Easter eggs should bring pleasure, unite the family, and develop children's imagination. And the end result will definitely please both the manufacturers themselves and the guests who received Easter eggs as a gift.

Every year, adults and children eagerly await the arrival of Easter, on the eve of which a special ritual is always carried out - decorating Easter eggs. This is done in different ways. Some, adhering to ancient traditions, make unique Easter eggs, others decorate eggs with dyes, and some keep up with new trends and cover eggs with colorful iron-on stickers. We will tell you further about how to properly apply a sticker to an egg.

How to put stickers on eggs: choosing the required products

Before you start decorating eggs, you need to prepare the following ingredients:

  • Eggs. On average you will need 8-12 eggs. The quantity should correspond to your preferences and the size of your family. Some people need 5 eggs, while others need more than 10 eggs. The size of the eggs is also important. They should be of medium size: eggs that are too small will slip out of the sticker, and eggs that are too large will not fit into it. In addition, it is better to buy eggs exclusively in white to highlight the beauty of the stickers.
  • Water. In order for the eggs to completely “sink”, you will need 1.5-2 liters of water and a shallow saucepan. The water should only be filtered, otherwise when it boils it will leave an unsightly residue on top of the stickers.
  • Salt. You will need half a teaspoon.
  • Set of 10 Easter iron-on stickers. The variety of designs on stickers is very large: cartoon characters, traditional patterned and floral motifs, church symbols, faces of saints, as well as images of temples.

There are many contradictions regarding the use of church symbols. Shells with such stickers require special treatment - they cannot be thrown away. After the holiday, as a rule, the shells are burned or taken to the temple, where they are disposed of according to church canons.

The process of decorating eggs with stickers

  • Boil the eggs. To do this, boil water, add salt, and then immerse the eggs in the bubbling water. After a minute, reduce the gas and continue cooking them for 3-4 minutes. After this, remove the eggs and cool in cold water. Then dry the shell thoroughly. Do not throw out the water, as it will still be needed.
  • Prepare your stickers. Use scissors to cut the tape into individual stickers.
  • Put stickers on eggs. Carefully push the egg into the sticker, trying to place it exactly in the middle. This will allow the sticker to adhere tightly to the surface of the egg, without defects in the form of a crooked pattern with creases.
  • Secure the sticker with boiling water. Heat the water in which the eggs were boiled, carefully lower the eggs with stickers into it for 7-9 seconds, and then pull them out. The stickers will immediately take the shape of the egg and stick tightly to the shell.
  • Place the eggs on a kitchen towel or paper napkin until completely dry.

- 3 boiled chicken eggs (can be colored),
- 3 thermal stickers,
- 750 grams of water,
- spoon.

Recipe with photos step by step:

We cut the stickers into pieces; they have a dividing strip along which we cut with scissors. We buy thermal stickers with any decorations.

For example, I used three chicken eggs, the main thing is that the number of eggs is equal to the number of thermal stickers.
We use already boiled eggs, or colored ones. We dress the eggs in stickers so that the stickers are approximately in the middle of the eggs. It is important that the eggs are not very large, elite, as they will not fit into the stickers. Buy medium-sized eggs, they fit perfectly and fit into the stickers.

Boil water, take a bowl and fill it almost completely with water so that the egg can be completely immersed in it. Place the egg with the sticker on a spoon and dip it in boiling water for a couple of seconds. In boiling water, the film will instantly stick to the egg and there will not even be any unevenness.

We take out the eggs again with a spoon and see that we have a beautiful Easter egg in an elegant sticker. The sticker fits tightly and is perfectly attached along the entire diameter.
